Hello Everyone,

In an effort better serve the board community, we’ve brought on some additional message board moderation to answer questions and concerns. Ideally, we would have had this help during our site redesign to better explain some of the revisions and functional changes made to tcm.com. We know there were many concerns and we will be better in the future about both getting feedback from the community and giving you advanced notice on major changes. We’ve worked hard to address many of the issues raised and will continue to do so. Thanks again for your continued support and participation in the TCM Message Boards.

Beginning on Monday, August 8, Michael Wesley Bay will be the primary message board moderator for TCM.com. Michael comes from a background of message board moderation with a strong focus on film and film communities. He will report to and work more closely with internal TCM staff members than previous moderators on addressing all important issues that affect the message board community as well as the daily monitoring of the site. Please feel free to reach out to Michael on the boards via private messaging with any concerns. And you can always submit a concern to the TCM Web Staff via our CONTACT section. Renee will continue to monitor and moderate the TCM Classic Film Union and help with the boards as needed, but Michael will concentrate solely on the message boards. Please give Michael a warm welcome to TCM.com.
