From today's Washington Post:

The saddest thing is that the people who will be hurt most by con man Trump and the Republicans are many of the people who voted for them.

Why the Republicans were in such a hurry to reconfigure health care

"Only by rushing to reshape a full sixth of the U.S. economy without knowing exactly how they would be reshaping it would Republicans be able to use health care to pave the way for the rest of their agenda. In other words, the GOP didn't want to let a detail like 24 million people losing their health insurance get in the way of two tax cuts for the rich."

Maybe he needs some tutorials on how to make deals.

I'll say. Maybe now even some of Trump's most blind followers may acknowledge the fact that perhaps The Art of the Deal was ghost written, after all (with Orange Top, of course, trying to take all the credit for it). Maybe Trump should take a refresher course on what Tony Schwartz wrote as him in the book.

Plus Trump campaigned on everything Obama did was a disaaaaaaaaaster and he would get rid of everything day one.  Now he and Ryan actually need the democrats to pass anything even though they have a majority because their own party is so fractional.  His rhetoric against the democrats is very unhelpful when trying to cut deals.  Maybe he needs some tutorials on how to make deals.

Jake Holman:

Levin: Trump’s Comments on Health Care Bill Failure ‘Were Actually Outstanding’

Levin called it “actually outstanding” and likened that leadership style to former President Dwight Eisenhower.

Forget it, Jake. Nobody's buying the spin.

Friday's pull of Trumpcare by your President was a sad, pathetic acknowledgement that he currently lacks the leadership skills to pull the factions of the Republican party together in order to do what the party has been telling the American electorate they would do for years, repeal and replace ObamaCare.'

The Republicans learned first hand how easy it is to be the opposition and oppose but now that it's their job to govern, owning all branches of government, they couldn't do it. This is a huge political embarrassment for Trump, Paul Ryan and both the moderate and right wing Republicans in the House of Representatives. What a bunch of incompetents!

So you can post all you want about the "positives" of Trump's loser speech but you're only talking to blind partisans like yourself.

If Trump really cared about Americans he would now work with moderate Republicans and the Democrats to make the necessary changes to ObamaCare to improve the affordability of it, while also making it more accessible. But do you think Trump plans to do that?

Nope! He'd rather see Americans suffer, trying to blame the Democrats at the same time for it, just for his own political advantage (he hopes). But not all Americans are stupid. They've seen for themselves the Republicans screw up the new health bill promised by them for many years.

Quite a record Trump has in his first two month, so far, eh?

1 TrumpCare a disaster.

2 Two travel bans on Muslims shot down by the courts.

3 Few Americans believing that Mexico will pay for any wall (and how many Americans even blame them?).

4 Trump's credibility increasingly taking a hit with his Twitter rants and constant distortions of the truth.

5 A dark cloud hanging over the White House with an FBI investigation of Russian leaks and possible collusion with them by members of the Trump campaign team.

The macho force of Trump's personality NOT galvanizing his own party around him, after all, as proven by TrumpCare. Republicans are looking to their own voter district's concerns, rather than being fearful and falling in line with the neophyte President.

Your Emperor increasingly appears to be having no clothes.

Well, hey, if Mark Levin says it, it must be true. I mean, THE Mark Levin, a man with a long, sterling reputation for intelligent, non-partisan commentary. Truly one of our great thinkers. Next you're going to tell me Rush Limbaugh thinks Trump is just amazing, and Sean Hannity sees the spirit of Reagan in Trump's tweets.

Apparently Trump, Ryan, McConnell and the rest of the Republicans have separate agendas.

New title time: Trump's Agenda vs. the Republican Agenda.

Don't you mean Trump first, Jake?

How does it benefit America to have the chairman of an investigation committee acting like a flunky to a man who is under investigation by running to him with secret new "info" that he wont reveal to anyone else, including members of the House of Rep committee.

Nor do you know, Jake, what Nunes told the President. Except that Nunes acknowledged it had nothing to do with an "Obama wiretap."

SO JUST HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW HE'S BENEFITING AMERICA!?!

From my perspective, Nunes has destroyed any illusion that this investigation will be bi-partisan. That is now a joke thanks to the Republican chariman, the man Trump toadie Jake regards as a "patriot."

As a matter of fact, that's why Jake likes Nunes' action so much because he knows that this may lead to this particular investigation falling apart. Why is that, Jake? Afraid of the final verdict?

And we all know Jake won't directly respond to this posting. He's the mouse that hides behind right wing BOLD TYPE internet headlines here (80% of them FAKE!) while waving the American flag.

This is what Jake really means:

The Republican agenda is killing its own. New studies have shown that the suicide and early death rates in America have increased among middle aged white men, particularly in rural areas. In general, "red" states have higher early death rates than "blue" states. Just as this trend in America becomes more prominent, early death rates have decreased in European countries. The right-wing plan to cut all forms of mental health care from the Affordable Care Act will make this worse, as the research shows that lack of access to such care may be part of the problem in rural America.

I guess we can paraphrase Jake Holman's motto to read:

"I would rather not wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth."
