I've never heard of ClassiFlix - I'll have to look there.

I don't know if you got to watch it, but it was so ambitious. I loved all the odd blocking and the lighting cues and the way that the sets and props were representational. The way it was written, going in and out of Eddie Albert's memory.... it was just marvelous.

I felt that Natalie was very sensitive in her portrayal.....

Thank you, Jackie! I've never seen this before, how wonderful it's on YouTube.

I have been renting from ClassiFlix "The Golden Age of Television", which features many such dramas. They're really fascinating, full of big stars and up and coming ones.

I just came across this old kinescope last night and thought maybe you might enjoy it. I thought it was first class, and Natalie really shone in her role.

Why don't they make exciting anthology shows or theatrical shows like this anymore? No short stories, no literature.... I long to see this kind of drama on TV .

"Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" will be on in the wee hours of the morning. I'm setting my recorder, because I've never seen this one.

*I must admit, though, that I am pleased that Natalie has a Box Set.*

That IS good news, I agree completely. ;)

*that's true, you're right! I know that some of her biggest fans are students who don't have access to that kind of money because of all of the expenses that face them.*

Not only that, but more and more, studios are resorting to "exclusive" titles that you can only get if you spend in a big, expensive set. And the way the economy is right now, that's bad news for classic movie fans.

*It can be pre-ordered on Amazon for $44.99, that's not too bad as far as price.*

I'm not complaining about the price of the set. It's a matter of principle. It may not affect me, personally, but I'm sure there's folks out there who'd like to buy maybe just one of the new titles, for $14.99 or whatever, especially with the economy being so bad right now.
