An early version of the classic Dickens novel and surprisingly good.

The reason why is because of the star power of Jackie Coogan as Oliver and Lon Chaney as Fagin. The 1948 David Lean verison is still the best but this one was very enjoyable. The pacing is good and some nice direction by Frank Lloyd also help.
