There you go with those elite cultural references, referring to a movie directed by a Foreign man who was born in London.

Vautrin, you're going to have to just face it--

You're not a man of the people.

Guess I was smart not to refer to Uncle Vanya. I sometimes associate

the phrase man of the people with a pol who is anything but that.

Curse Sir Walter Raleigh, he was such a stupid get.

Actually, I was thinking of this Uncle Charlie, who briefly stayed in
Santa Rosa.

I'm sure Cappy would have rescued the other Uncle

Charley if necessary.

Well, there is some beautiful scenery there. Getting

back to the fire, I wonder if Uncle Charlie got out safely?

I'm pointing out that man is mostly responsible for this unfolding disaster.  Sorry if the truth has become inconvenient!

Every state has its good and bad points, though by just economic

stats, WV might be in the Thank God for Mississippi club.

Yeah, good point.

Evidently this guy doesn't know that one could still get a nice water view and for a lot less money AND on much more stable ground, IF he'd just move to beautiful Wheeling West Virginia here, huh...

YEAH! Now THERE ya go!

Yep, I gotta admit that scenic picture of good ol' West Virginy there sure does make it look like heaven on earth, huh.

Don't know if I would've posted that picture though. Once people see how beautiful you have it there, you could have a whole mess o' folks movin' in around ya.

Uh-huh...just like what happened to us native Californians.

Say, and speakin' o' which. Lemme show you some scenic pictures of THAT state while we're at it here, and seein' as how you posted that one of WV...

(...and well, I suppose I COULD go on and post a whole lot of other scenic pictures of that state, but I wouldn't wanna overdo it now, now would I)

The folks in West Virginia may be very disappointed that they supported trump in a big way. Because with the Medicaid and food stamp rollbacks planned they will be greatly affected.

According to Kaiser statistics they have the highest share of any population on Medicaid, approximately 29%. And West Virginia's 4th in food stamp consumption in the United States. With an unbelievable whopping 53% of all children in the state covered by Medicaid.

So it looks as though this is a much troubled state with health and food issues.

It'll be interesting to see if they're still supporting trump after he rolls back some of these Federal benefits.

Yep, and the very reason people shouldn't have ever moved west, but should have stayed in garden spots like West Virginia here...
