Pirates invade a tropical island and attack the inhabitants.  Those inhabitants are ready for the attack and defend themselves with guns, explosives, and a ferocious tiger who is hidden in a deep pit.

You Can't Have Everything?

Yes Starliteyes. You got it! This 1937 musical has Alice Faye as the playwright, Don Ameche as a Broadway producer interested in her. Also featuring Tony Martin, who became Faye's real life husband husband around this time, and the manic Ritz Brothers.

Great job! Your turn.

Sounds like Separate Tables ? Deborah Kerr as the woman in love with David Niven and Gladys Cooper as the overbearing mother from hell.

You got it! Good job, Lavender. Your turn.
