I recall a Ray Bradbury story with that general plot, but the people both dreamed about the end of the world. Much worse than having water in your ear.

Was there a movie, a romcom, in the 40's or early 50's where the man and the woman dreamed the same dreams? My husband remembers a scene where the woman dreams about swimming, and the next morning you see the man hitting the side of his head to get water out of his ear. Sound familiar? Or were we dreaming? Thanks!
