COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER is an excellent film and I look forward to seeing it again.  Thanks for the head's up.  Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones: two of my favorites.

I am looking forward to this film airing on TCM in September as part of this year's Essentials.  It will air again in January 2015.

There are several good articles about COAL MINER'S DAUGHTER at the page for this film on the TCM database:

"The truth? What good is the truth if it destroys us all..?" -- Mady Christians in ALL MY SONS (1948).
