John Williams directed by Alfred Hitchcock on Hulu

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: “Back for Christmas” (Season 1, Episode 23) with Isobel Elsom

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: “Wet Saturday” (Season 2, Episode 1) with Cedric Hardwicke

Alfred Hitchcock Presents: “Banquo’s Chair” (Season 4, Episode 29) with Reginald Gardener

Who could forget John Williams in "Back for Christmas" with Isobel Elsom?

I loved John Williams in "Dial M For Murder", too.

He originated the role in the famed Broadway production.

"O. Henry's Full House" was Farley Granger's last Hollywood film.

Yes, he turned to stage, television and foreign film productions. There are some episodes of him on YouTube when he made appearances on Edge of Night in 1979. It was an interesting storyline, but he played kind of a pathetic character and it just seemed so beneath his talents. I guess he had an electric bill to pay.

"Love Letters" - the tortured romance of this film is - what? - almost "exquisite".

Yes. It's one of my favorites in the romance genre. The supporting cast is tremendous.

THE OUTLAW with Jane Russell

THE FUZZY PINK NIGHTGOWN with Jane Russell

"The Outlaw" wasn't about Jane Russell; it was all about Jack Buetel.

"The Fuzzy Pink Nightgown" was an attempt to re-vitalize her career.
