"Night and Day" is such a falsified biographical film.

Cary Grant and Monty Wooley must've laughed a lot.

Maybe Alexis Smith, too.

I think Alexis Smith is at her physical peak in NIGHT AND DAY. I don't even pay attention much to the plot or how contrived/falsified it all is. She's so glamorous, especially in Technicolor. She also looks gorgeous in SAN ANTONIO, made a year earlier.

"The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg", "The Young Girls Of Rochefort" and "Donkey Skin" are all parts of an enchanted Jacques Demy trilogy.

I prefer to view it as an enchanted Catherine Deneuve trilogy.  :D

Jean-Pierre Leaud and Francois Truffaut were such a winning combination.

Yes, a perfect example of a director and his stand-in (muse).
