Hello Txfilmfan,

Things are a bit different for the opening night, red carpet screening.

Only Spotlight and Essential passholders are admitted, but anyone who holds one of these two pass types is guaranteed admittance as long as the arrive before the screening begins. There is no need to queue up or receive a queue card-simply enjoy a walk down the red carpet, enter the theater and find an open seat.

Here is some more answers for questions about the film festival should you need it:  http://filmfestival....d/festival-101/

Enjoy the festival!

We've been to the TCM Film Festival in the past, but have always sat in the bleachers for the red carpet opening.  This year we have passes for the film.  How does the seating for this screening work?  Is it the same as for the other films (queue numbers with open seating)?  In other words, are there advantages to entering early?
