Joe,

Thanks so much! I am still surprised at how good he was considering he joined the Gang when he was barely 4 years old!

Mongo,

Any chance you have a photo or three of Spanky in his heyday?

Mongo, I'm so glad you brought up Kathy-O. Love that movie, it was intelligent and very well acted including Jan Sterling and Mary (sorry) "Fickett?"
Please air it TCM!

The one of Errol and Olivia is lovely. Seems as if they did get along in their last film together. Anyone read the new book that's out on these two and whether or not there was a "relationship" between them?

Star, I like a movie with Duryea titled "Kathy O'" in which he played a real nice guy. In real life he was a hands on dad with his two sons.

Another red letter for the industry and fans. Heroes, villains, funny folks and great dramatic actors all in one day.

Dan Duryea fans like me should check out Wagon Train episode 15, “The Cliff Grundy Story” from the 1957-58 first season. He stars with “Professor” Russell Johnson in a story which has scout Flint and a prospector friend stranded without guns or water by a nasty partner. The surprise is that Johnson is the villain and Duryea the lovable loudmouth who nearly dies saving Flint. It’s one of the few times he gets to play it straight and it was nice seeing him show he could do it as well as be dastardly.

As for Kovacs and Scott-do I put in comedy or six-guns in my player first? All decisions should be this much fun.
