I love most of the great mystery series - The Falcon The Saint, The Lone Wolf, Joel and Garda Sloane, The Thin Man, Chalrie Chan, Mr. Moto, Mr, Wong, Crime Doctor, Sherlock Holmes, Bulldog Drummond, etc.

And there are a lot of individual mystery films I can watch over and over - Suspicion, Footsteps in the Dark, Shadow of a Doubt, The 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes and so many others - good, bad and so bad it's good.

There were two characters in The Lady Vanishes - Chalders and Caldicott - who proved so popular the actors made a number of films as the same characters and made other films and a radio series with similar roles, but under different names. Later a BBC series called Chalders and Caldicott was made. Never have seen that but would love to.

One I really loved was Footsteps in the Fog. Watched it with my mom when I was a child. Hope TCM will show it soon.

Yes, the Nancy Drew mysteries are fun to watch! I put in a request for those movies last night. I also requested Crime Doctor and the Philo Vance movies that you had suggested. One of the other TCM viewers informed me that The Kennel Murder Case will be airing on September 10th! I'm really looking forward to seeing it!

The Perry Mason TV show is great. Gotta love that theme song! I'm also a huge Murder, She Wrote fan.

Thank you for your film suggestions, Kingrat and Randyishere! It's always great to meet mystery movie fans. I'll put in a request for those films in the "suggest-a-movie" section. I think I'll put in a request for the Nancy Drew movies too. I haven't seen those in a long time.

I also enjoy black and white mystery movies. I always try to guess who the killer is and what is their motive. I also enjoy Laura, Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes, and Bonita Granville and Frankie Thomas in the Nancy Drew series are the best. Nancy Drew and Ted crack me up. I love B-movie mysteries as well, like Behind Green Lights (1946), Mr. District Attorney (1947), and The Limping Man (1953).

Those are some great ones! I especially love the Chan and Holmes films!

There are so many great mysteries! I love many of the older 30's mystery films, including a lot of obscure ones! I love the public domain ones that are one shots from some of the public domain sets out there! I also love the "Crime Doctor" series! The "Philo Vance" films are great! So are the Perry Mason films! And "The Thin Man" series. And the "Hildegaard Withers" series!

THE BIG SLEEP is a good one I just thought of!

And there was a good one on this past weekend, SCENE OF THE CRIME!
