    What Are You Wearing?

I'll be driving across town to the Roosevelt later this morning (Wednesday, April 27) and I expect to arrive around noon. In case anybody is trying to spot me, I'm wearing a very full Hawaiian print skirt, a dark blue jean jacket, and stick-straight hair today. What are you wearing??? - Kathie Fry / HulaSkater

To See or Not to See

Nooooooooooo (My vote: wait to see it on the big screen) ~ Kathie
  3. << I believe the announcement stated at official TCM signing events at Club TCM, which does not preclude signings after films (where discussions are held at the end of the film, rather than before). >> David, how would it work if somebody wanted to get an autograph or photo during one of those end-of-film discussions? Do people try to catch the celebrity as they are leaving the stage? Or are people invited up to the stage to meet the celebrities? Just curious... Kathie
  4. TCM announced in another thread (discussion) that at the official TCM signing events, only CDs and books purchased at the festival will be signed by celebrities. That announcement did not address whether or not celebrities would be willing to sign items when requests are made outside of the TCM signing events, for example, if you encounter a celebrity on the street. I guess it's up to the celebrity, but note that most celebrities will appreciate you purchasing their book or CD (just like you or I would). Kathie Edited by: hulaskater on Apr 15, 2011 12:31 PM
  5. Updated to remove bringing items to be signed by celebrities... Things people have recommended bringing: - Comfortable shoes (for sprinting between theaters) - Sunscreen, sunglasses, sun hat (for standing in line) - Snacks and bottled water (for in-theater dining) - Business/Personal cards (for exchanging with new friends) - Small notebook and pen (for recording contacts and happenings) - Sweater or light jacket (for nights and over-cooled places) - Camera, memory cards (or film), batteries, charger NOTE: only CDs and books purchased at the festival will be signed by the celebrities, so don't bother bringing photos DVDs or other items from home to be signed. Don't leave home without: - TCM Festival Pass - Studio Tour Confirmation (if you're taking WB Studios tour) - Photo I.D. (if you're taking WB Studios tour) Kathie Edited by: hulaskater on Apr 15, 2011 8:48 AM

    Studio Tours

Thanks David, I signed up for the Thursday Warner Brothers Studio Tour. To others who might be interested in taking one of the WB Studios tours, the ticketing page on their Web site says both the Thursday and Monday tours are full, but I was able to get tickets by calling 877-492-8687. Maybe those tours are marked full because they are private tours? Looking forward to it! - Kathie

    Spotlight Pass Holder's Questions

RhondaNY, this paragraph was included the letter I received from TCM with my Spotlight Pass: "We are pleased to announce that Spotlight Pass holders will have daily, exclusive access to complimentary "Meet and Greet" continental breakfasts April 29-May 1 at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. TCM's own Robert Osborne fnd other special guests will be in attendance." Nice! - Kathie
  12. How long before the start of each film are spotlight pass holders typically allowed to enter the theater? How about non-spotlight holders? Thanks, - Kathie
