    Tora! Tora! Tora!

Was it "In Harm's Way" where the young nurse got raped and she committed suicide because of it???? And it would help if TCM were to show "Teahouse of The August Moon" and other films regarding post WWII where we helped other Pacific Rim nations to get back on their feet. BTW, what happened to the Monthly Newsletter??? I have not seen it in my inbox for a couple of months now.

    Watch TCM app

I have Direct TV and watch it on there but am subjugated to the airing schedule. I want to be able to choose what movies I want to watch when I want to. I have a tablet but is on loan to someone staying in the house. I wish TCM would make the app available for the Xbox One and PS4.

    Tora! Tora! Tora!

With the release of the upcoming NEW Midway movie, I hope next month TCM will show the original movie, "Tora! Tora! Tora!". Does anyone have any insight on this??? Reminder: Next month has Veteran's Day in it, so maybe that weekend or the month after on Dec 7, the day of the event. "I want confirmation". Line from "Tora! Tora! Tora!"

    The Battle of Coral Sea

I saw this movie the other night on SonyHD. I just want to go on record saying that the credits give Cliff Robertson as the skipper of the submarine, "Dragonfish" but I think it was Robert Conrad as I am a fan of the "Wild, Wild West" series and "Baa Baa Black Sheep" series with him. I am familiar with his voice and movements. If you know or own this movie, please reply and let me know what you think. I have an open mind but I think it is Robert Conrad.

    Arabian Knights style movie

I have been trying to find this movie after seeing before the birth of the internet. A grown man and boy must go on a quest for a flower called "The Rose of Illil". The boy was the one who was able to retrieve it and it had the power to make flying carpets. Of course it is a rebellion again the Grand Vizar of the population. Can't remember the name of it. Anyone know what I am talking about???

That was it. Just confirmed it on IMDB.com.
  9. The 1973 musical remake of Frank Capra's "Lost Horizon". Burt Bacharach did the score. And the original "The Muppet Movie".

    Abbot and Costello movie

There is a movie where the movie starts during the Revolutionary War and they end up getting killed and went down in history as being thought traitors. When the new owners take charge of the property, during a seance they get to clear their names and are allowed into heaven and the record being corrected as being heroes cause they died trying to get a message to Washington or one of his commanders. I cannot remember the title of the movie and would love to add it to my collection.
  12. There is a movie being shown to the vets @ the beginning of the movie and the girl is dumping all sorts of stuff into a beaker, however this movie is given no mention in the credits. Anyone know the name of this movie?
  13. I am pretty sure I have seen Clark Gable singing "Hey You, with the stars in your eyes" into a tape recorder, and then playing it back, and talking back to the recording. Cannot remember what movie he did it in. Thought it was "Boom Town" but just watched it and I was wrong. Anyone remember what movie he did this in??? Please help. Thanks.

    Dark Shadows

I remember the movie cause the vampire, who looked like John Hurt or Roddy McDowall, stared @ the painting and said, "Josette". He wore like a red smoking jacket and there was a party. I wish I could remember. Well, maybe TCM will play it again.

    Dark Shadows

I am having trouble remembering if it was John Hurt or Roddy McDowell who starred in a Dark Shadows movie and I cannot remember the name. BTW, Amazon.com sells a collector's edition of Dark Shadows including all the episodes from the BBC. All 1245 episodes. I think this movie was the pilot or inspiration for the Dark Shadows series.
