  1. I recently watched a super freaky witch movie, so if witches scare you, then this is the perfect movie for you. If you're a fan of the show "Salem," then this movie is perfect for you, too. "Horror Hotel" aka "The City of the Dead" stars Christopher Lee and came out in 1960. Shows the darkest side of witchcraft in a small village in New England. A great Halloween watch! My review:

"The Uninvited" 1944 Video Movie Review - One of the first Supernatural Movies Ever!

Thank you for watching, James! Who would have thought Ray Milland was such a great musician, right? lol Also, did James Cagney ever come out with a Christmas movie? Just curious...
  3. One of my "Big 3" supernatural movies that everyone should watch at Halloween time! This movie is one of the best supernatural movies out there. A must watch, guys! Note the Ouija board scene! I want to correct myself in the video...the first appearance of the Ouija board in film history was "Koko" the Clown...not "Koke" the clown haha as I say in the video. Enjoy the review!
  4. I have been raised by movies! LOL I think classics are perfect for raising a kid because they are very moralistic and tell good stories usually. I'm very thankful my dad got me into old movies. I'll never forget spamming Charlie Chaplin movies as a 5 year old!
  5. TopBilled recommended me to do a review on this movie, and boy...I am very happy that I saw it! Orson Welles delivers his lines in an Austrian accent like it is completely natural to him! One of the best post war romance films that I have ever seen! If you enjoyed my video review, please subscribe to my channel on YouTube! I come out with reviews and recommendations about 3 times a week! I also love talking with my viewers!

I'm kicking off my first Christmas special with "The Bishop's Wife." It's a great movie to get us all in the Christmas spirit! My review is a bit long, but this movie has so many interesting stories behind it! Did you think Cary Grant was better suited to play the angel or the bishop? Christmas movies all month! Get out the eggnog :3

    Great Christmas films!

I'll be reviewing a few of the titles you mentioned! Tis the season

"The Uninvited" 1944 Video Movie Review - One of the first Supernatural Movies Ever!

I completely agree with you MCannady! Ray Milland is always a joy to watch and was extra entertaining in this supernatural film. It's so fun to watch at Halloween time!
  9. This movie will definitely get your heart beating fast! Bette Davis has a small role in "Phone Call from a Stranger," but her performance was, of course, one to remember. It is certainly a movie that will have you thinking about "forgiveness." Nunnally Johnson was truly a great writer! Enjoy the review and be sure to leave a like or comment on the video! I reply to everyone! Little correction...in the review I say it came out in 1953, but it was actually 1952 :3

"Phone Call from a Stranger" 1952 Video Movie Review - Fasten Your Seat belts!

It's a great suspense movie and there is an excellent quality version of it on YouTube for anyone that is struggling to find it!

"History is Made at Night" Movie Review - 4/4 Stars!

This is also a great movie to watch at New Year's! If you haven't seen it in a while, then watch it around that time!
  12. Thank you so much MCannady1! I look forward to discussing more classics with you either here or on YouTube!
  13. This is a film that TopBilled and I decided to review together! I have not seen anything he had to say about the movie yet, but I will after posting this. "Blanche Fury" is a must watch for the Victorian era fans! This is one of those movies where I had a lot to talk about. Enjoy the review and be sure to subscribe on YouTube or leave a comment! I love discussing these movies with you all. This is the entire purpose of me doing these reviews.
  14. Another great Thanksgiving movie that shows how the frontiersmen and Native Americans worked together to make our country great! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I love you all and welcome everyone who is to new to the channel! Turkey time!

"The Last of the Mohicans" 1936 Video Movie Review - Happy Thanksgiving!

When someone uploads a video to YouTube, you are given 3 thumbnail options for your video...from the start, middle, and end. I try to not choose the 3rd thumbnail because it gives away the rating, but the 1st and 2nd thumbnails were just terrible choices for this video LOL I think they were blurry and me looking totally away from the camera...I never opt with the blurry ones.

"The Last of the Mohicans" 1936 Video Movie Review - Happy Thanksgiving!

I felt the film was too long because I found myself ready for the film to end earlier than it did LOL Once Magua was killed, I thought it would end there like in the Daniel Day Lewis one...but it went on to even show that Hawkeye was getting enlisted in the British military. Regarding the script, it didn't make me really think at all (like blockbusters we have today in theaters)...nothing was too deep which gave the movie that "cowboys and Indians" feeling at times. Overall, I liked it quite a bit and the actors...3 stars is pretty good!

"Plymouth Adventure" 1952 Video Movie Review - Thanksgiving Classic! Turkey TIme!

Brown's "The Yearling" is such a dreamlike movie...I enjoyed it quite a bit. The love triangle in the movie was pretty bad...it's not even just because of how Tracy looked, but also his personality...he's a huge jerk and mean to everyone on the ship...and here the wife of the leader of the pilgrims is falling for him? It was too much for me LOL Thanks for commenting on why Van Johnson disappeared. It was unfortunate that he wasn't in it more. I'm definitely a fan of him!

Get out the mashed potatoes and turkey! It's Thanksgiving time! What better classic movie is there to watch than "Plymouth Adventure?" I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families or wherever you are! I know once I spent this holiday alone in Italy, and it was a bit sad...but we can all give thanks for everything we have! After all, we are all alive and hopefully well! I am thankful to all my viewers this year! You guys are the best!

This is truly a horror classic! I'm having a difficult time deciding whether I like this Frankenstein movie or the Universal Frankenstein movie more...both are great in their own ways! Which one do you like more? Enjoy the review, and please comment here or on YouTube! This is such a great movie to talk about!

"Drums in the Deep South" 1951 Video Movie Review - Civil War Flick!

I read that since the movie went into public domain, there aren't any really good copies of it...I'm sure I would have enjoyed it a bit more if I saw an HQ version of it. The DVD I got was pretty bad...

    Ian Patrick's Movie Reviews/Recommendations

This is a great movie for those who love Civil War flicks. If you sympathize with the South and the Confederates, then this movie is really perfect for you! Overall, it's a decent B movie...it's difficult to compare it with a giant like "Gone with the Wind," but "Drums in the Deep South" is definitely worth watching at least once. Be sure to subscribe to the channel for more reviews! I do at least three a week! A Frightening Friday Flick will be out later today!
