I really want to visit that part of Italy. It's going to be hard to recapture the magic of this movie in a sequel

Too young to die and I thought he was aging nicely - I don't see how they can recast the role in "Riverdale" He had great chemistry with K.J. Apa who plays Archie

Warner Brothers Archive is releasing Blake Edward's "Wild Rovers"(1971) starring William Holden and Ryan O'neal. The film was severely cut by the studio and it was not a success. The failure is sometimes blamed on the rather homoerotic poster which suggest an intergenerational "Brokeback Moutain" . I've never seen it . ( I would post the image but I seem to be having trouble with it)
  21. Kerry Conran's ambitious tribute to classic fantasy adventure films was not a box office success. It was one of the first films to use extensive CG sets to create a retro-future New York. The movie looks like an RKO film from 1939. The story is pure adventure serial with Sky Captain ( Jude Law) and Polly ( Gywneth Paltrow) running against time to save the world from a mad genius who wants to destroy the world. There are plenty of visual references to everything from Flash Gordon to King Kong.

"Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"

Ribisi was very good in the film. And you are right about the movies unique visuals

"Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow"

It is a beautiful designed movie but I wonder if people got the visual references. I mean to say a bigger box office name in the lead
  24. The stars look more annoying than sexy and seriously was the art director on acid! The colors are hedious
