  8. Filmlover, I ordered 3 titles from FOX: DESK SET. INN OF SIXTH HAPPINESS and AGONY AND THE ECSTASY. Had not expected to buy the latter two but could not resist due to the great price. Also, pre ordered the R&H set. I already sold off two of the R&H dvd's. Will hold onto STATE FAIR.

Filmlover I did not know the R&H Blu Ray set was an exclusive to Amazon. I would not buy the DVD set since I already have all of the these on single DVD. So I might reconsider pre ordering the set. Will have to get rid of the individual titles which should not be hard to do.

Sometimes FOX CONNECT has cheaper prices than Amazon. That site does not yet list this release but maybe I will wait a bit to see when it comes up. I believe the DVD set is selling for $64.99.

Good price and something to think about. Already have the BR of SOUND OF MUSIC and SOUTH PACIFIC. I wonder if the R&H titles would be released individually.

Two Biblical epics: *Esther and the King* (1960) starring Joan Collins and Richard Egan and *Sodom and Gomorrah* (1962) starring Stewart Granger and Pier Angeli. While it has not been confirmed, the latter two are likely pan and scan.

3/17 RELEASES TIM HOLT WESTERN CLASSICS COLLLECTION VOL 4
  18. In my opinion many of these FOX films are just not very good and at $19.95 its still something to think about. In the past I purchased LOVE IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING and the print was beautiful but read reviews on others like SONG OF BERNADETTE and JANE EYRE and quality was mixed, I do think these are titles that did not sell well. There are a couple of Columbia titles that I like but @$24.95 I will pass. Just too much coming out and I try to be very selective in my purchases.

That's ok Obrien. No need to apologize. I had been listing the new releases for the archives for sometime now. I just felt no need to duplicate info. You were right about *THE BIG HOUSE*. Its a triple feature. Did not realize the info came from MOVIES UNLIMITED. If you happen to see something I missed do not hesitate to list it. Also due, 3/11 *AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY* (50th anniversary) Blu Ray edition.

obrienmundy, I do not see a pre order for THE BIG HOUSE. In fact, I see nothing listed for tomorrow's date as of 3/10. I never list preorders since it can change or additions made to the list. I have been listing the DVD-R's on the date of release as there is really no reason to preorder as price is the same. I thought I was doing a pretty good job listing new releases for the Warner archives for quite some time now. If it makes you feel good to list the DVD-R coming out for the archives then go ahead.

*2/25 RELEASES* SHOW BOAT, Irene Dunne. (This release is a major disappointment as I thought this would come in a box set with the other Show Boat films and possibly even in Blu Ray. Now it looks like it will never happen with this film being dumped with other archive titles. One only hopes the 1951 film will be released on Blu Ray.) _____________________________ CAGNEY: OKLAHOMA KID WINNER TAKE ALL HERE COMES THE NAVY
