    Shirley Temple is gone

Just about every year TCM, on April 23rd, Shirley's birthday, would schedule a number of her films but this year, they have none at all showing and I sure hope they change that day to honor her with a full day of movies. Would be so wonderful, a most beautiful tribute if they could get their hands on some of the Fox films and, even Paramount's LITTLE MISS MARKER which they have shown a few times in the past. Shirley was such a big little star that she deserves a loving full day's tribute!!!!!!!!!

    Shirley Temple is gone

This for me is so sad because I have been a HUGE fan of Shirley for years and years and have a huge collection and have all her child movies and also have many of her newsreels and rare photos and, original books and , I just cannot believe she is gone,, I have been crying all day, I just cannot believe she is gone, :( I feel really depressed as Shirley was my top favorite and , I just cannot believe she is gone, I just cannot believe this

Going to go see WADJDA (2013)

This movie is coming to Blu-ray on Tuesday February 11th. Theres no separate DVD release, the DVD is part of the Blu-ray so, it is a 2 disc set. Had been hoping there would be a DVD release on its own. I will get this tho, since the DVD is included

These are all Alpha Video DVDs so, the picture quality will be all over the place, and mainly on the bad side. their DVD case artwork tho is what looks real nice. IS Alpha video, but most everyone here knows this.

    Edith Fellows

"I only recently discovered Edith Fellows' film career and think she was a marvelously talented and very natural actress. I just did a FB page on her under Edith Fellows-actor/director. I too am looking for THE LITTLE ADVENTURESS and LITTLE MISS ROUGHNECK, in addition to several others. Really liked PENNIES and the 4 PEPPER films". _____________________________________________________ Hi ShockDoc, So nice to know another who also likes Edith Fellows. I have been wanting TUGBOAT PRINCESS and LITTLE MISS ROUGHNECK and THE LITTLE ADVENTURESS for so long and, it seems no one has these. I think Columbia never made these into 16MM prints and that's why they have never been available from collectors. I have several of her other Columbia films but, these 3 titles that I have wanted since forever seem to be films that are lost forever and, I hope that Sony will look into releasing these 3 films to DVD. They did release CITY STREETS several years ago, and this was also one I had wanted, along with the other 3 titles but, Sony has not released any more. I keep hoping they will surface soon!!!

    In search of...Virginia Weidler

I sure can tell you what is wrong, and that is JANE WITHERS never was at Paramount.. Wonder how they messed up because at that time Jane was a big star at Fox!
