ISRAEL MIDDLE EAST NEWS Why We Should Be Alarmed That Israeli Forces and U.S. Police Are Training Together Razan al-Najjar is the latest victim in Israel's onslaught of Palestinians to go viral. The 21-year-old nurse was shot dead by a sniper. Her only weapon? A wad of medical gauze. She'd been treating protestors who've been rallying for their right to return to homes they were expelled from as refugees. Unfortunately, the death of another unarmed civilian is hardly even news to Palestinians. May 14, the day the United States moved its embassy to Jerusalem in symbolic support of recognizing the city as Israel’s capital, was also the bloodiest day in this recent wave of demonstrations. In just one day, at least 50 Palestinians were killed and 2,400 more injured by the Israeli military. (Other counts put those figures even higher.) This isn't an anomaly. In this latest wave of demonstrations, Israeli forces have killed dozens of unarmed protesters and wounded thousands more. And they’re not apologizing.

Trump's Biggest Whoppers Giuliani says Kim Jong Un got 'on his hands and knees and begged for' the summit with Trump Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who's now a lawyer for President Donald Trump, said North Korean leader Kim Jong Un got "on his hands and knees and begged" the president to move forward with a planned summit after Trump abruptly canceled it in late May. Giuliani's comments about Kim could anger North Korea, given that it does not take kindly to any statements or actions that could be perceived as insulting or threatening toward its leader. Trump is set to meet with Kim in Singapore on Tuesday. Rudy Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who's now a lawyer for President Donald Trump, said North Korean leader Kim Jong Un begged the president to move forward with a planned summit after Trump abruptly canceled it in late May. "Well, Kim Jong Un got back on his hands and knees and begged for it, which is exactly the position you want to put him in," Giuliani said at an investment conference in Israel, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

ISRAEL MIDDLE EAST NEWS Secret Obama-era permit let Iran convert funds to dollars WASHINGTON (AP) — After striking an elusive nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration found itself in a quandary in early 2016: Iran had been promised access to its long-frozen overseas reserves, including $5.7 billion stuck in an Omani bank. To spend it, Iran wanted to convert the money into U.S. dollars and then euros, but top U.S. officials had repeatedly promised Congress that Iran would never gain access to America’s financial system. Those assurances notwithstanding, the Obama administration secretly issued a license to let Iran sidestep U.S. sanctions for the brief moment required to convert the funds through an American bank, an investigation by Senate Republicans released Wednesday showed. The plan failed when two U.S. banks refused to participate. Yet two years later, the revelation is re-igniting the bitter debate over the nuclear deal and whether former President Barack Obama was too eager to grant concessions to Tehran.

Immigration Policy? Migrant kids could be held in US military bases at Mexico border US military bases could soon be used as holding facilities for migrant children that have been separated from their parents at the southern border under the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policies. Officials from the US Department of Health and Human Services are planning to tour a number of military installations near the border in Texas in an effort to source more space to house children waiting for placements with sponsor families, NBC reported. The installations under consideration are the Dyess Air Force Base, the Goodfellow Air Force Base, and Fort Bliss, a HHS spokesperson said.

Trump's Biggest Whoppers US child migrants: Sessions defends border separations US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has defended separating migrant children from their parents at the US border. In a radio interview, he said that authorities "prefer to keep the children close" to their parents, but added that this was often not possible. The issue has caused a growing storm after US officials confirmed hundreds of child migrants had been removed from their families. On Tuesday, the UN called on the US to "immediately halt" the separations. When asked whether it was "absolutely necessary" to separate children from their parents, Mr Sessions replied in the affirmative.

2018 Elections LOS ANGELES (AP) — Republicans and Democrats alike appear to have escaped calamity in a crucial day of coast-to-coast primary battles as they fight to shape the political battlefield for the fall. There was an especially big sigh of relief from the GOP Wednesday after the party avoided being entirely shut out of California’s November election of a new governor. Republicans had feared that Democrats would win both of the governor’s spots in California’s unique top-two primary system. With no one to support at the top of the state ticket, the concern was that GOP voters would sit the election out, giving Democrats a big advantage in House races across the state that could help swing control of Congress. There was less Democratic talk of a November “blue wave” on Wednesday. And President Donald Trump, crediting “the Trump impact,” said there might be “a big Red Wave” instead. But that seemed to be more of a typical presidential boast than a realistic analysis of the California results.

None of that stuff is free even for American citizens. Things like Affordable Healthcare are just affordable at best. Also illegals don't even have access to that stuff. Get real.

Healthcare in America? IN THE SPRING OF 2016, a 12-year-old named Gabriel Brasfield spent 3 ½ months in a psychiatric hospital in Chicago. His hair, which he liked to wear cropped, grew long and unkempt. He forgot what it felt like to wear shoes because he was allowed to wear only hospital socks. He missed months of school, and couldn’t go outside. He celebrated his 13th birthday at the hospital, where he said the walls were bare and there was little to do. And for eight weeks of those 3 ½ months, he didn’t even need to be there. Doctors had agreed Brasfield was ready to be discharged about six weeks after he arrived, but the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, which is his legal guardian, couldn’t find anywhere for him to go. Brasfield is one of hundreds of children in the care of DCFS who are held each year inside psychiatric hospitals for weeks or months, even though they have been cleared to leave, a ProPublica Illinois investigation found.

ISRAEL MIDDLE EAST NEWS Netanyahu wanted IDF to prepare for Iran strike on 15-day notice in 2011 – ex-Mossad chief Back in 2011, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the military to get ready to strike Iran with only a two-week preparation period, former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo revealed. Such a strike would have resulted in open war. It’s the first time a former Israeli official gave an insight on how long such large-scale military operations would (and should) take IDF to prepare. Pardo, who was picked for his role earlier that year, was unsure about the idea even wondered if the Prime Minister had the authority to order the action, the former spy chief said in an interview with Keshet TV’s “Uvda” investigative show, broadcast on Thursday evening. The strikes were intended to target Iran’s nuclear facilities, but such action would likely have resulted in a full-blown war.

Trump & International politics Mexico Strikes Back, Levying Tariffs on U.S. Pork, Steel, Whiskey Mexico will begin to tax a range of U.S. products in retaliation for tariffs on Mexican steel and aluminum that President Donald Trump announced last week. The country will slap tariffs of 25 percent on certain cheese products, steel and Tennessee whiskey while imposing taxes of 20 percent on pork, apples and potatoes, according to a resolution published in the Official Gazette early Tuesday. While other World Trade Organization members are also considering retaliating by targeting iconic American products -- such as bourbon whiskey and Harley-Davidson motorcycles -- the escalating tensions between Mexico and the U.S. may further complicate the renegotiation of the Nafta trade accord.

Immigration Policy? SANDUSKY, Ohio (AP) — More than 100 workers at an Ohio gardening and landscaping company were arrested Tuesday when about 200 federal officers descended on the business and carried out one of the largest workplace immigration raids in recent years. The operation was part of the White House’s increasing focus on businesses that hire people in the country illegally amid a broad range of immigration crackdowns under President Donald Trump that include stepped-up deportations, targeting of sanctuary cities and zero-tolerance border policies.

Triumph of the Will and Ewige Jude are also important German documentary films from that time period. They pretty much influenced every documentary filmmaker afterwards. Also Roman Karmen's documentaries like the Nuremberg Trials (1947) can be considered important.

Yeah, they watch it dubbed but the bigger picture he's trying to paint is that working class people love Roseanne and see Roseanne and Donald Trump as a giant middle finger to liberal elites. The liberal elites don't speak their language and the working people think they don't care about them.
