  1. I am in the LA area watching on Sling on a Roku Ultra device. Was flipping by TCM tonight and got this message "This program is unavailable on sling tv" i have never seen this for TCM before. We just switched back to Sling TV a week or so ago from Direct TV Now because of all the outages and buffering. A look at the schedule and it shows Return to 'Giant' (2003) was airing. I know i saw Giant on tonight before this show was blacked out. Why would this happen?
  2. My primary provider is Sling where I subscribe to TCM, yet I’m not allowed to use TCM’s standalone app. This sucks because more often than not TCM fails to provide movie synopses on Sling — making stars and selections largely guesswork. Yeah, you’re Time Warner and your core biz is cable subscriptions. But Time Warner priced itself out years ago with bloated packages and awful service. Why not go where so many of your loyal fans have fled — monthly subscriptions, or honoring my Sling subscription? At least give us back movie synopses. We’re paying for them!

    TCM on Sling

I was unable to get TCM on my local cable provider (Time Warner) without paying for Standard Cable, which would have run me $80 a month. The only channel I ever watch is TCM. I looked into Sling TV and it costs me $25 a month for a bunch of stuff, but at least I can choose TCM, and now I'm happy. Why is Sling not listed as a provider? I can't watch TCM On Demand on my computer because Sling is not listed as a service provider. Wake up, TCM! Some people have found a better route to you than the standard cable package!
