  1. Hello All, Sunday evening, TCM ran 5 silent shorts of "the boys"; some which I hadn't seen since I was a kid in Newark, New Jersey, in the early 1950's. The one entitled "Big Business", where Stan and Ollie try their hands at selling Christmas tress in L.A. was unique in one way. During the ensuing fracas with Jimmy Finlayson, Stan calls to Ollie, but [if you can read lips!] you'll notice that Stan's lips are saying "BABE". This was a nickname which followed Ollie his whole life. I had never seen [or heard] Ollie's "other name" used in any of their movies before! Does anyone know of another film in which it was used?? Many thanks!
