  1. Finally what's been available on DVD recently did Britians first color made silent. The glorious adventures 1922.Here the fact. It's was made in 22, not in 1917, as earlier info claimed. The only problem is that it's not an official print. It an extent transfer of the restored print. It looks like it was recorded by a video camera from a theater screen. This image is dark and the print and colors are somewhat washed out, as a result. It's better than nothing, It's one of those fans of classic silent companies, which the focus is to serve silent classic film fans rather than profit, like t.c.m. does profit first classic film fans and history second. Silent Hall of fame. They could have spent more money on a better transfer. They overcharge too.
