1940.Englishman John Sidney Howard,

(MontyWooley)is on a fishing trip in France.The nazis invade and MR Howard wants to return to England as quick as possible.The hotel owner asks him to get his two children(Roddy McDowall and Peggy Ann Garner)to England.Children drive MR Howard crazy,but he agrees to take them along.Also going is Nicole(Ann Baxter)his dead sons wife to be.

The group have their share of adventures with the advancing German army,bombings,and other orphan children joining the group.

They are picked up by SS Major Diessen(Otto Priminger)who makes a deal with MR Howard,he can continue on to England on one condition.

Great Film.DONT MISS.
