If you don't have a clue as to who I am, you are obviously brand new.. But I hope you stay around, in the role of my yes-man, or yes-woman. :)

Sorry to diasppoint you, but I haven't a clue ?:| as to who Finance is; I just happen to think DB is a rotten co-host.

So what did you do Finance, register under a different name so that you could agree with yourself? ;)

Exactly. The Sherman Oaks Galleria would have been her mall of choice, I believe.

Sorry folks, but everyone else DOES NOT adore Drew Barrymore. And the fact that she is a Barrymore, makes her no more knowledgeable about classic films, that me growing up in Michigan makes me knowledgeable about classic cars. Her appearances on The Essentials are painful to listen to, as she sounds like your average California mall rat. I say bring back Alec; didn't always agree with him, but he's a hell of a lot more insightful and intelligent that Drew.

Isn't that finance in that scene with Drew? ;) So, he HAS seen Drew act. I'll bet he also worked with June Allyson.

I also, think she wants to learn from Robert. She grew up in Hollywood and with her turbulent history, she could easily just be a statistic or a Lindsey Lohan. She has grown into a very accomplished person and I think she truly loves films and has learned from her past.

I love Drew Barrymore as an actess and I can appreciate her accomplishments. I believe she truly loves classic film and is eager to gain knowledge from Robert, but I must say I think her co-hosting abilities are weak. I sometimes get the impression that she's making it up as she goes along. Some of her commentary just doesn't sound genuine to me. Sorry gang, I'm in finance's corner.

Losing a "Valley Girl" accent is probably more difficult than losing a heavy German accent.

Hey finance! I may have mentioned this before around here, but is it only me, or does Drew remind you of George Reeves TOO??? Especially in profile!

Though, I ALSO gotta say that, yeah. while her last name MIGHT BE the primary reason she attained this level of celebrity(and who says there's no nepotism in Tinseltown, eh?! LOL), I DO have to agree with Stephan55 here and say that I think, to her credit, she HAS seemed to be able to overcome her lousy Hollywood insider upbringing, and seems like a REASONABLY knowledgable cinemaphile and nice young lady.

(...though yeah, that "Valley Girl" talk of hers, what with EVERY sentence ending with that annoying upturned inflection of the voice, has DEFINITEY got to go...PLEASE Drew, learn the proper time to do that, will YA?!...one should ONLY do THAT at the end of a freakin' QUESTION!!!)

LOL

Yes, married to Will Kopelman, on June 2, 2012.

I've heard they are expecting their first child.
