Arturo,

Since this is a thread dedicated to classic Fox output, I figured it would be a good place to ask you a question about an obscure 1953 film the studio produced starring operatic talent Ezio Pinza. After making two films at MGM, he did TONIGHT WE SING for Zanuck. Costars include David Wayne and Anne Bancroft.

According to a user comment on the IMDB:

I am disappointed that there does not seem to be any videos available of this film. About 15 years ago, it was possible to get a long-play record of the soundtrack, but, sadly, I was too late to buy a copy, because it was deleted from the catalogues. I have requested the showing of the film on British TV, but the reply is - there is no print available.

Is this statement true? Even if British television cannot obtain a copy, I am thinking FMC could certainly broadcast it here in North America. Surely it cannot be a lost film...?

REMEMBER THE DAY (1941) Excellent account of scoolteachers Claudette Colbert and John Payne early in the last century.

Lori, i don't know when FMC will schedule GENTLEMENS' AGREEMENT. Fox Movie Channel has shown it a number of times in th last 2-3 years. I believe it was the subject of one of the Fox Legacy with Tom Rothman, which are still shown occasionally. So it may be on sometime in the future.
