I simply LOVED this movie!

Joe, you're so right about this being the equivalent of those "let's put on a show" from the 40ties.

I went and saw it 3 times because the dance numbers were so phenomenal. The heroine was rather bland but the male lead was cute and sexy and he could really dance, too.

I'm come to really enjoy all these new MTV type musicals in this "Step Up" series. I tried watching the originalone, HONEY, starring jessica Biel but it was such a hideous and bland exercise in nothing that I only watched half of it.

One of my favorite musicals that I watch regularly in FLASHDANCE.

I'm eager to get my Blu-Ray copy of STEP UP REVOLUTION

This is an 21st century update to all those let's put on a show in a barn movies. This time the talented kids stage elaborate flash mobs and post in on you tube. Light harmless summer fun.
