I started recording all the What's My Line episodes on DVR when I found out that Hedy had been a mystery guest. I've been doing this for months now and almost gave up hope when earlier tonight while deleting stuff to make more room for movies I saw it! I always fast forward ahead to see who the mystery guest is gonna be and I wasn't paying attention until I saw, that face. I was on the phone with my Mom and she said I startled when I said... HEDY!! I tell ya there's nothing like seeing your favorite star unexpectedly to brighten your day and cheer an election wearied mind! I loved her before but after seeing how totally warm she was, it was totally obvious why she's my fave! She was nothing like the Mona Lisa-ish type she's sometimes portrayed to be. Oh and don't be fooled by that clip of the show that is on YOUTUBE, it is just that, a clip! Oh and she shakes hands with both hands like my Grandma (who was around Hedy's age) taught my Mom and my Mom taught me to do, I call it a hand hug. It's a more affectionate than a regular handshake but not as familiar as a hug. Love her!
