She was likable in just about every film. I would have married her PAL JOEY character in a minute.

LOL. Yes it got a CONDEMNED rating! Seeing it now, you wonder what all the hubbub was about. No nudity, profanity or violence. It was/is pretty racy and leering type sex farce. I think Kim is good in it.

I absolutely love Vertigo. For me, that is THE Kim Novak film. I also really liked Picnic, save for (imho) a miscast Bill Holden. But Vertigo is a movie I still enjoy watching over and over again.

I remember Kiss Me Stupid as being one of the forbidden films for Catholics. I forget how and why I knew, but I remember seeing it on a list in something called The Tablet. So I just had to see that film. What a disappointment for the forbidden factor, but I thought it was a pretty good movie.

Just to show that I'm not the king of nagativity. I do not like Drew Barrymore. I do not like June Allyson. I defintely like Kim Novak, in anything, even JEANNE EAGELS and KISS ME, STUPID.

Like everyone else, I have had a long time "crush" on Kim Novak. I can't wait to see the interview she had with Robert Osborne at the TCM Film Festival this past April. The really sad thing is that she didn't make more movies and what's even sadder is the fact that a lot of the movies she did make are not shown more often.

Oh my! I just recently watched Kim Novak in Bell, Book and Candle and she honestly had me believing she was a witch by the end of the movie! I absolutely loved the final scene with Novak, the cat, and Jack Lemmon; they had great on screen chemistry.

Arlene, to pharaphrase Lina Lamont: "Of course she looks better with red hair, don't everybody?" Others droll; we rule! Other folks, see our thread further down.

Kim is most lovely in Picnic, the red hair helps. ( hehe) Susan Strasberg is doll and no one can top Roz Russell.

I've never seen a star's physical appearance change as much as Holden's did from Golden Boy to Sunset Boulevarde. He's actually more attractive as he gets older (until you get to The Wild Bunch ). AT least, however, he never resembled a troll.
