This popular song, created by a famous song-writing team, was first introduced in a 1932 musical set in another country. Five years later, it was sung by Phil Harris' first wife in a movie. It was later sung by Rudy Vallee in a ballroom scene in another movie and whistled by William Holden while driving a car in a movie twelve years later. In 1957, Ella Fitsgerald had a hit with this song.
Name the song and the composer and lyricist. You can track down the movies for extra points.

"Happy Talk", performed by Juanita Hall as Bloody Mary in "South Pacific" on Broadway, but for some reason, she was dubbed by Muriel Smith in the movie.

♫ Talk talk talk talk talk happy talk,
Talk about things you like to do...
You got to have a dream,
If you don't have a dream...
How you gonna have a dream come true? ♫

Miles, as much as I enjoy this thread, I have nothing appropriate at the moment.

You Make Me Feel So Young. It was an easy-listnin' standard, and was often on musical TV shows when I was in my teens. Wikipedia alleges it's from 1946's Three Little Girls in Blue, performed by Vera Ellen and Charles Smith, with voices dubbed by Carol Stewart and Del Porter.

Here's one you'll know.
The moment that you speak,
I wanna go play hide-and-seek.
I wanna go and bounce the moon
Just like a toy balloon
You and I are just like a couple of tots,
Running across the meadow,
Picking up lots of forget-me-nots
I'm sure you can name the song, but can you also name the forties musical that it was first featured in? Can you name the performers in the production number?

Right! Jimmy McHugh!
And the real proper exact official correct genuine title of the tune is:
"New Universal Signature" (Because Universal was calling itself "The New Universal" at the time).

Well, I've seen it listed as "Universal Pictures Fanfare" and "Universal Pictures Signature Theme", but whatever it was called, it was composed by songwriter Jimmy McHugh.

No, not "Universal Fanfare", although the word Universal is part of the right title.
And no, the composer was not either Newman or Previn. The composer was better known as a real song writer (as opposed to an incidental music composer or Musical Director like Previn).
The composer of the Universal logo music was a very prolific song writer who wrote many very familiar hits - classics, standards! In fact, looking him up on IMDB, just the listing of "Soundtrack" usages of his songs lists 408 titles!
He was at Universal at the time, writing songs for some of their musical movies, when they decided to update their globe logo and add a music score to it. So he must have been asked to come up with something for them, and he sure did a memorable job!

Just a guess. I'll say it's called "Universal Fanfare". I suspect that the composer was either Alfred Newman or Charles Previn. They both worked at Universal at about that time. I'll go with Alfred Newman.

OK, musicalnovelty, it's your thread now.
Okay, sorry if this isn't very inspired, or if I may have possible asked it before.
We've all (I expect) seen the wonderful Universal globe logo that precedes Universal movies between1937 and 1944.
What is the title of the music accompanying the spinning globe, and name its composer.

Yes, "With A Song In My Heart" was featured in the 1929 Broadway show "Spring Is Here". The movie version was made in 1930. Many singers have recorded the song, but this was the first time it was sung in a movie. Here is a clip:
