I'm told that no deliberate changes were introduced by the development team. The team is working on the issue and hopefully will have them resolved by early next week.

Tell those programmers to do something else to justify their jobs. Leave well enough alone. Are they willfully trying to destroy this Board?

I just noticed that when we are reading a thread, or when we are in a thread index, the page doesn't show what Forum we are actually in.

That listing has been removed, so we don't know what forum we are posting in or reading.

Did anybody else notice a change?

I just noticed it. When there are long posts, we have to scroll way down the page to see who wrote the post we are reading.

Why would they change that? The names should remain up at the top of each post.

Also, there is no longer a direct link back to the main forum directory from individual threads. The "Forum Home" hotlink is missing when I'm on any of the threads. I now have to click on the large text that says "MESSAGE BOARDS" to get back to the Forum homepage.

Why did they change that?

Why do they make changes that aren't needed and that make the board more difficult to use?

It used to be that a poster's name would show up at the top left of a post, as though it were one td in an HTML table, and that td were vertically aligned to the top. The post itself would be in a second column to the right of that.

I log in today, and all of a sudden, the posters' names are vertically aligned to the center instead of the top.

There also seem to be a few other changes, such as the link to go back to the forum main page being some sort of images only. (For some reason, the stylesheet I'm using has problems TCM's images in the navigation area at the top.)

Did anybody else notice a change?
