I see what you mean now. Here today, gone tomorrow...and back again the next week only to leave the next month. Wow...sounds like an unreliable caretaker. _

Thanks for the info dwnadine, but those aren't the shorts we are talking about.

The Trader Hound short was to fill in for the normally second showing of a Zorro episode and therefore scheduled way ahead of time.

The November 13th shorts were silents and part of Silent Sunday Nights and technically not the kind of shorts we are talking about.

The MGM Parade Shows are always on the schedule.

What we are talking about are the shorts like the Fitzpatrick Travel Talks, the Joe McDoakes shorts, etc. You can see what I mean by looking at this particular day's offerings:

I see shorts on the Monthly Schedule.

http://www.tcm.com/schedule/monthly.html

Go to November 12 at 11:30 AM. (Trader Hound)

November 13 at 12:00 AM (Habeas Corpus), followed by three shorts.

And November 30 at 5:30 AM (MGM Parade Show #7).

Yes, some information on the lack of shorts on the schedule would be nice. This on again/off again situation is frustrating.

As another poster has shown, Comcast has the shorts on their onscreen tv guide, so obviously they are getting the information from somewhere. I'm assuming it's coming from TCM. So if TCM can send out the shorts information to cable providers, why can't they have it on their online schedule? I would like someone to confirm or deny my suppositions.

It seems that SHORTS are no longer shown in the daily or weekly schedule. This happened after the Upgrade but then reappeared. WHY! It does no goog to read posts such as "Unlisted short aired today" since I cannot go back in time to watch them. Perhaps someone from TCM can explain this omission.
