Was just reading the TCM list for the "31 days" in February and early March:
http://i.cdn.turner.com/v5cache/TCM/2013/31days/pdf/31DaysSchedule_2013.pdf

See "Heaven's Gate" is now scheduled for midnight on March 3.

"Pennies from Heaven" with Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters on at 5:00 a.m. February 19 (listed under Feb. 18)...

"The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T" on at 8:00 a.m. on Feb. 23 is a pleasant film. I've seen it a few times on TVO's "Saturday Night at the Movies" in the past. For example, http://snam.tvo.org/blog/saturday-night-movies/snam-i-am

Anyway, something for everybody, I guess ("Smokey and the Bandit"?), upcoming in February and March...

A classic don't mean old.

And not all old(er) films are classics. Verdad?

Where are all those critics that don't know what a "CLASSIC" is? You know, all those posters that claim everything made in the studio era is a classic and everything made after the studio era is "TRASH". I enjoyed "Iron Petticoat", so that makes it a classic in my eyes. I'd like to see all those that argue the greatness of movies made during the studio era to come forth and show your support for the classic "Iron Petticoat".

That's right, clore. It is airing in November, December, January and March. If it had received one tiny little Oscar nomination, it would've been scheduled again in February to push DVD sales.

I am sure we can expect it in April, May and June as well.

We are stuck with THE IRON PETTICOAT. Thank you, TCM. LOL

Judging by what I'm reading in other threads and on other message boards, it seems that we have a new reason for rejoicing over the Oscar fest:

The Iron Petticoat can't be aired. :)

It's not the same message, I take away ones once someone tells me if they have aired on TCM or not? If I don't repost it, people will forget about it and not respond to it.

Welcome to Post-Moderation. I would also suggest you read more carefully the next time so you don't miss the part where I say " If you want to discuss this issue further, use a PM. Further posts on this subject will lead to post-moderation."

I wasn't being agressive.

Repeatedly posting the same message in a thread is disruptive, violates the code of conduct, and is rude and aggressive. Don't repost the question. If you want to discuss this issue further, use a PM. Further posts on this subject will lead to post-moderation.

Mike00, if someone was able to answer your question, they probably would have done it the first time you asked. You will not get an answer by aggressively reposting your demand.

How hard is it for me to get an answer as to whether or not these movies have aired on TCM before or not?

1976's My Friends Need Killing

1958's The Haunted Strangler

1958's It Happened in Broad Daylight

1972's Un Flic

I agree fully with your sentiment. There comes to all a time when they should bow out and it is to my own shame that it will at times take a very long time for me to realize that I can not have a meaningful dialogue with a poster no matter how much effort I expend and to realize that the best course for all is for me to use the "Ignore" button..

I wasn't aware it was incumbent upon any poster to divulge personal information in order to participate in any discussion on the board.

I believe a lack of some personal information greatly hinders many discussions. I do not mean age, gender, politics or religion. I do mean what appeals to them and what they consider important in a movie.

I could list six movies which I like very much and ask for recommendations for others like them but it would have no meaning and I would receive no proper responses if I did not say also that why they touch me deeply is how the director used actor placement and camera angles to juxtapose totems of conflicting rationales to enhance character development.

I believe that what a person likes and why they feel attracted to certain things in movies is very personal information and if a poster is unwilling to share that for unstated reasons then there is little hope for a meaningful discussion.

1976's My Friends Need Killing

1958's The Haunted Strangler

1958's It Happened in Broad Daylight

1972's Un Flic

And the reason is crystal clear to me. If you are not going to share any information about yourself and it would seem on your very cryptic reply to me that you feel no need to disclose any information, then I do not have to answer any additional questions you may

Why are you under the impression that you are compelled to keep responding to whatever Mike00 posts? If what he is asking is so disquieting to you, perhaps the best option is to disengage. But that would be too easy and it doesn't raise the blood pressure.

I wonder if I'm the only who feels that all the posts criticizing Mike00 are more annoying than the supposed source of the disharmony?

I wasn't aware it was incumbent upon any poster to divulge personal information in order to participate in any discussion on the board. Perhaps a private message would be the better route to take.

That's my tuppence. What's yours?
