Never happen.  The GOPers in the House would never indict him.  Paul Ryan would never let it get to a floor vote.  Too afraid of being primaried out of office in 2018.  Even if they did, little chance there would be the 2/3 votes in Senate to convict him.

My greatest concern about a Trump presidency would be his appointments to the Supreme Court.  And the Senate will confirm whoever he nominates, assuming the GOPers retain a majority.

He'll appoint a couple of his personal lawyers.

If the country elects Trump as President and elects a majority of Republicans as senators and elects a majority of Republicans as congressmen/women - shouldn't the country be supportive of Trump's nominations to the Supreme Court?

If that's what people want, that's what they should have. Or no?

Chuck Todd just released the WSJ/NBC poll, which was embargoed until a few minutes ago, presumably so he could announce it. He said "If anyone thinks Clinton is losing ground, think again." The poll is where it was a month ago, with Clinton comfortably ahead.

I was watching MSNBC at 4:00 and the anchor went down the list of what they were going to talk about and the new poll was one of the items.  Then went to 15-20 minutes rehashing the shootings, so I gave up.

Way too complicated to discuss.  You would have to understand the the American political and justice systems.  Sort of like majority of Americans want more restrictions on guns, but GOPers are adamantly opposed to it and get reelected every election.

Yay! America is saved!

Maybe, but still a long way to Nov. and this is apparently a national poll and not a state by state one.

Personally I still trust the ones at FiveThirtyEight.com more.

Hopefully she won't be down to 54% chance of winning on Friday, huh?

They're lawyers? They passed the bar?

Good for them. I'm impressed.

There's no rule that says a Supreme Court Justice has to be a lawyer.

That's whack.

As it gets.

How can anyone be the highest judge of law in the nation if they don't know the law?

You guys really need to repair that. You need to repair so many things, but that right there should be right at the top.

Sheesh.

Could appoint his sister as she is a judge of some kind.  JFK appointed his brother Attorney General.

What was wrong with last week's polls? (or maybe the week before) Millions of people changed their minds?  I just dont believe any of these polls. Hillary got sick and millions decided to vote for tRUMP?

Yeah, that's true. Heaven help us if he gets elected. (and the GOP controls Congress like now) He'll be able to do what he wants. There will be NOTHING to keep him in check........

MORE MEDIA LIES=> NBC-WSJ Poll with Hillary Up 6 Points Is Weighted with 14% more Democrat Voters!

So any pro-Hillary poll is badly flawed, and any poll which favors Trump is well-researched.

no, just unbiased.

most white middle class people are well aware that there has been a longstanding and ongoing liberal bias in the msm going back to the beginning of the 1960s.

and it's not going to change. better than 95% of people who make up our television news media hold liberal personal views.
