Say what you want about "Funny Lady" as a film; I think the music is pretty good.

I like this design for some reason.

I like how the people sort of form the instrument.

I never bought Black and Blue, but the cover is kinda

cool. Looks like Keith might puke in Mick's ear. I'm sure

he would never do that.

It wouldn't surprise me if he HAD.

Well, this thread seems to have wandered a bit.

Seems like y'all like EVERY album cover EVER MADE!  ;)

Don't mess with the boss, or co-boss.

Think of all the album covers released over the last fifty years

or so, and that's really quite a large selection. Some groups

have more than one distinctive cover and others have very

few. Most of the ones I have posted are albums I have, though

not all. I'll keep on posting, so close your eyes as appropriate. :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm being very selective in my choices.

Besides the four I've posted, I also would've gone with Steely Dan's 'Can't Buy a Thrill' which was posted by JamesStewartFan95 (which I "liked") - and George Harrison's 'All Things Must Pass' which was posted by Vautrin (but wasn't able to "like" because it was not a stand-alone album posting).

This is a great idea for a thread, by the way.

I have to say that although HIGHWAY 61 REVISITED is one of my favorite albums, the cover isn't one of my favorites.

I like his previous BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME cover better, but it too, isn't one of my FAVORITE album covers.

I like his previous BRINGING IT ALL BACK HOME cover better, but it too, isn't one of my FAVORITE album covers.

That's the 2nd album I ever bought - and it was the cover that made me buy it!

I used to see it at the corner store and would look at it everytime I was there. The picture of Dylan and the woman and the cat and the room somehow fascinated me.

And I had no idea who Dylan was!

I bought that record purely on spec - not something I recommend. I've been a lifelong fan of Dylan ever since. From the moment I heard 'Subterranean Homesick Blues', 'She Belongs to Me', 'Maggie's Farm', 'Bob Dylan's 115th Dream', It's Alright Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)', 'It's All Over Now, Baby Blue', and the full version of 'Mr. Tambourine Man', I was changed.

Until then I'd only listened to orthodox good singers. Dylan was something else entirely. My friends thought it was weird at first - but it grew on them because I kept playing it when they were over, whether they liked it or not. And after a while, they started enjoying Dylan's mannerisms. When 'Like a Rolling Stone' broke, they were instantly accepting of its hit status. They'd been prepared by 'Bringing It All Back Home'.

And it all began for us with an album cover I'd found fascinating enough - of an artist I didn't know and thought looked like a bit of a weirdo and whose prose on the back was a mess of unpunctuated mindflow - to gamble 4 bucks on in 1965.

To each their own. I like both covers, though I would guess that Freudians prefer Bringing It All Back Home.

While homosexuals prefer Highway 61.
