Where lies the truth behind the boastfulness and defensive posturing? And let us not forget President Trump openly mocked the intellect and academic achievements of his predecessor.

BUSTED: Man entrusted to run Trump sons’ hunting retreat worked in the US illegally for 18 years

If you want to stop illegals from entering and working in the US you don't have to build a wall on the southern border --

Just get access to the White House gate and talk with trump. He's the one who's been  hiring illegals for years. Quite a few from Bedminster were interviewed on NBC News. You can't really blame them for being angry because they worked so many years for him and now they were being fired all of a sudden.

What a lying hypocrite! LOL

Foreign leaders showered President Trump and his family with more than $140,000 in gifts during their first year in the White House,

with China and Saudi Arabia among the most lavish givers.

=============================================

"According to the State Department's annual accounting of such gifts, Chinese President Xi Jinping gave Trump and first lady Melania Trump the two most expensive presents in 2017: an ornate calligraphy display and presentation box worth $14,400 and a porcelain dinnerware set that includes plates imprinted with the pink house at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort worth $16,250. Like all of the other gifts to Trump, his wife, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner, those were turned over to the National Archives.

The Saudis and Gulf Arab states gave at least $24,120 in gifts to the Trumps. Those included a $6,400 ruby and emerald pendant necklace from Saudi Arabia's King Salman, a gold-plated fighter jet model worth $4,850 from Bahrain's crown prince, a $3,700 bronze statue of three oryx from the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, a set of gold-plated Kuwaiti coins worth $1,610 from Kuwait's emir and "royal" perfume in a reptile-skin carrying case worth $1,260 from the deputy prime minister of Oman.

Others in the Middle East did not stint when it came to presents for the first family,.........

Inside the unprecedented partnership between Fox News and the Trump White House-

".........the president promotes Fox News in other ways as well. Since August of 2018, Trump tweeted Fox News stories to his 58 million Twitter followers more than 200 times. .......

The most valuable square foot of real estate in Washington, D.C., is the president's head, and where he is learning about the world is important.

If he's not getting his information from the national security apparatus or the experts in government, and is instead listening to "Fox & Friends" and the guests that they book, that gives that show an incredible amount of power, and power without accountability.

Fox News is only accountable to its viewers and to its advertisers......

Overall, more than a dozen current and former administration appointees have previously worked at Fox, including John Bolton, Trump's national security adviser. He was a longtime Fox News commentator.

Bill Shine, a Fox News executive who now works as deputy chief of staff for communications. Hope Hicks was the former White House communications director, but she left the White House in March, and was soon hired by Fox News' parent company, 21st Century Fox.......

there are a number of conservatives who are bashing Fox, because they think it's become a mouthpiece for Trump, not conservative, so much as almost kind of a platform for authoritarianism. And they're worried about it.

So you don't hear dissenting voices on Fox even within the right. You don't hear other kinds of conservatives....

what's different is that there's coordination now, where you have — really, you have got the largest cable news network in the country is coordinating, it appears on a daily basis, with the White House.

So there's this revolving door, where the former president of Fox News (Bill Shinr) is now the director of communications for Donald Trump.....

what Fox does is, it has a counternarrative that it spins out there that keeps Trump supporters happy

and says, don't listen to those critics. They are the deep state. ......"

This is, on its face, absurd.

We don't put American troops in Germany, Japan and South Korea because it's profitable.

We do so because we share a commitment with our long-time allies to the common defense and to common values.

We put American troops in foreign bases so we can stop any attacks before they reach America.  It also gives us forward bases to inject our foreign and military policies more rapidly.

Of course, the US Navy would actually love this, as would the ship building industry.  Without foreign bases, we would have to have 10 times as many aircraft carriers and all the support vehicles they require.  Not to mention more submarines and other ships.

We are in Germany to counter the Putin Soviet Union/Russia and to use as a base for action in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.  We are in Japan to counter North Korea and China.

How does the owner of a strip mall “day spa” know her way so well around the Trump Mar-A-Lago set...

"The woman who snapped the blurry Super Bowl selfie with the president was Li Yang, 45, a self-made entrepreneur from China who started a chain of Asian day spas in South Florida. Over the years, these establishments — many of which operate under the name Tokyo Day Spas — have gained a reputation for offering sexual services.

Nineteen days after Trump and Yang posed together while rooting for the Patriots, authorities would charge Kraft with soliciting prostitution at a spa in Jupiter that Yang had founded more than a decade earlier......

The Kraft bust brought global attention to the proliferation of Asian day spas across the country, some of which are thinly disguised houses of prostitution — and experts say could be engaged in human trafficking to fill demand...."

What makes this President above all the others?

Why is he trying to destroy  presidential tradition and precedent?

Why does he have no respect for the office of the presidency?

Why is it he has no respect for the majority of the American people?

Why does he have no respect for the US Constitution that he has sworn to uphold?

A Florida Massage Parlor Owner Has Been Selling Chinese Execs Access to Trump at Mar-a-Lago

The strange, swampy saga of Trump donor Li Yang.

........ massage parlors her family runs have “gained a reputation for offering sexual services.” (She told the newspaper she has never violated the law.)

Beyond this sordid tale, there is another angle to the strange story of Yang: She runs an investment business that has offered to sell Chinese clients access to Trump and his family.

And a website for the business—which includes numerous photos of Yang and her purported clients hobnobbing at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Palm Beach—suggests she had some success in doing so. .............
