An agreement not to foreclose further discussion, to actually have further discussions at some point, with the aim of coming to agreement, and formalizing such agreement and giving it binding force.

Some day. After they've, you know, reached agreement. Wow.

First year law students everywhere: an agreement to agree is not a binding contract.

They agreed to nothing.

Trump lashes out after George Stephanopoulos presses him on obstruction, claiming he had full authority to fire Mueller.

"But I wasn't gonna fire. You know why? Because I watched Richard Nixon go around firing everybody, and that didn't work out too well."

Watching the @realDonaldTrump interview and although we've become accustomed to it, this man lies as effortlessly as he breathes. He actually must believe this stuff to do it no matter how false it is. This is real mental illness.

Well, Mexico just released the full page that @realDonaldTrump carried when he said there was a secret agreement

The last paragraph is confusing to me.  45 days after June 7th when Trump decides the flow has not been sufficiently stopped, Mexico "under [their] domestic law" will bring the agreement into force.

What agreement?  Is there something else to which Mexico has agreed?

#Russia's state TV hosts & experts ponder about the impact of the @nytimes article

about an alleged U.S. incursion into the Russian power grid on the anticipated meeting between Trump & Putin.

"If they do meet, what will Trump do?

Be red-faced? Look down? Try to make amends?" ©️

Trump has lost the financial support of one of his biggest backers in 2016: the Mercers, according to Vanity Fair.

"It's like they've disappeared," a former West Wing official added. "Crickets. They're gone," a prominent Republican strategist said.

This is an extremely rich and well-educated man who had been a Breitbart/ Steve Bannon Financial supporter for a long time. Bannon brought him to trump. This guy is an example of the 1% who are starting to Desert a sinking ship.

Unlike trump's lower-class/ and often poorly educated supporters, the Mercers are smart enough to cut their losses.

Our Orlando Sentinel endorsement for president in 2020:

Not Donald Trump | Editorial

".....After 2½ years we’ve seen enough.

Enough of the chaos, the division, the schoolyard insults, the self-aggrandizement, the corruption, and especially the lies.

So many lies — from white lies to whoppers — told out of ignorance, laziness, recklessness, expediency or opportunity.

Trump’s capacity for lying isn’t the surprise here, though the frequency is.

It’s the tolerance so many Americans have for it.

There was a time when even a single lie — a phony college degree, a bogus work history — would doom a politician’s career.

Not so for Trump........

According to a Washington Post database, the president has tallied more than 10,000 lies since he took office.

Trump’s successful assault on truth is the great casualty of this presidency, followed closely by his war on decency.

Trump insults political opponents and national heroes alike with middle-school taunts. He demonstrates no capacity for empathy or remorse. He misuses his office to punish opponents, as when he recently called for a boycott of AT&T to get even with his least favorite media outlet, CNN. He tears down institutions, once airily suggesting the U.S. should try having a leader for life as China now allows......

Trump has diminished our standing in the world. He reneges on deals, attacks allies and embraces enemies. .....

He blames House Democrats because casting blame is Trump’s forte.

But Republicans controlled the House and the Senate for two full years. That seemed like an ideal time to fix what the president believes ails our immigration laws. ......

Trump seems to care nothing about the deficit and the national debt, which once breathed life into the Tea Party.

Through all of this, Trump’s base remains loyal. Sadly, the truest words Trump might ever have spoken was when he said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and not lose his supporters......

We can do better. We have to do better. "

WATCH: President Trump declines to apologize to the exonerated Central Park Five,

and asserts that “you have people on both sides” of their exoneration.

The case has received renewed attention in light of Ava DuVernay’s ‘When They See Us’. https://nbcnews.to/2KoOUV2

- the Central Park 5, were exonerated by DNA evidence and a confession from the true perpetrator in 2002,

Let's say he's concerned.

I would say the majority of Americans are worried and all of our allies are probably terrified.

The only people are who are happy about trump in the Oval Office are our enemies and adversaries and the rip- off Republican Party.
