They're completely and entirely fair game for  Special Counsel Robert Mueller. LOL

Why do you keep moving Jakeem's posts to your own thread's in order to respond?  At least show where you moved it from.  I prefer to go back to the original post to make a response.

Thank you.

Perry and the coal baron need a hug since their attempt to provide Fed dollars to the coal \ fossil fuel industry was rejected by a Fed commission.

Devin Nunes might as well be a Trump appointee.  He was part of Trump's transition team and now he is the weasel in the wood pile.  Putting Trump before country, Nunes is Trump's toad in the campaign to discredit the Russian Investigation.  And he was supposed to be leading that investigation!

No Experience Required.  Nunes went from winning an election to the School Board to then becoming the first Congressman in a new California district.  His opponents who split the vote were from out of county.  This brainless wonder is now the head of the House Intelligence Committee!  Let's hope that someone runs against him this year.

Here is Nuñes looking over his shoulder. The jerk needs to start practicing this procedure because he'll be doing it for the rest of his life, unless Columbus can take him back to Portugal on the Niña, the Pinta or the Santa Maria.

Jamesjazzguitar earlier responded to a question I had about the likelihood of Nunes not winning in 2018.  Not much chance and it is a strong Republican district.  Both he and Trump did very well in the 2016 elections.

Does he get primaried?  No one even ran against him last time out and when he first won he ran in a new district against two people who did not live locally.  He barely won.

In 2016, he got 67.6% of the vote.  That is pretty good and an indication he will win again.  He could be primaried, but that is doubtful since that usually comes from someone farther to the right and he is pretty far already.

The GOP establishment (e.g. the RNC),  as well as big-buck PACs and donors tend to support the incumbent candidate especially in CA,   since the GOP wishes to maintain the few congressional districts they have a majority in.

As I stated the CA House primaries are 'open' (anyone can vote for any candidate), with the top two getting to the General.    The GOP knows that if more than one GOP candidate runs in the primary, they could split the vote and this could lead to NO GOP candidates in the general.     While they can't prevent someone running against an incumbent they have ways of persuasion.

I haven't checked who is running in Nunes' district in the Primary, but my guess is many Dem candidates and only Nunes for the GOP (or if there is another GOP candidate they have little to no name recognition and therefore unlikely to split the GOP vote in the primary).

A former lobbyist for the corn syrup and snack food industries is now helping set USDA dietary guidelines for the Trump administration after getting an ethics waiver, IBT reports.

“This waiver from the ethics rules is highly inappropriate,” Craig Holman, a lobbyist on campaign finance and governmental ethics for the watchdog Public Citizen, told International Business Times. “Waivers from conflicts of interest should only be granted when expertise from others who have no conflicts is otherwise not available. This lobbyist has a direct and substantial conflict of interest that should disqualify her participation in the matter.” ...

... 32 lobbyists appointed to Trump administration posts who oversee the same specific issue area on which they had lobbied within the last two years, in apparent violation of the ethics order. ....

Kathleen Hartnett White withdrew her nomination as an environmental advisor.  She was too "out there" in her climate beliefs - even for Republicans.  :)

This bizarre Hartnett White woman, looney Ben Carson,  cold as ice Betsy DeVos, white collar criminal Tom Price, the mercenary Mnuchin et al.....

Where does drumpf find all these poorly qualified, off the wall, money-grubbing creatures? They are truly The Heartless Cabinet.

My only guess is that drumpf seems to look for people he has something in common with.
