Mike Pence-- Who is He and What is his Agenda?

306 posts in this topic

Donny has been backpedaling since the election. A wall, a fence,

a couple of croquet wickets. No mass deportations. No complete

repeal of Obamacare. This must be the only juggernaut that

moves backwards instead of forwards.

You only have to look at Fred Trump and see that he doesn't come from much.

He hates immigrants and yet his paternal grandparents were Foreigners; his mother even was a foreigner. So I can only get from that standpoint that "white" foreigners are ok but, other foreigners are not.

Wait till 01-20-2017 and we will see what happens. The Trump juggernaut is on the way with a clear and unavoidable mandate, lady. You lost. Understand?

Arturo is a man. LOL. Yeah, the juggernaut to impeachment or resignation..........maybe a nuclear war or two. Enjoy!

Well, who can fathom the prodigious mind of Donny Trump.

Anyone who ever knew a con artist I guess.

U.S. Vice President-elect Mike Pence said on Sunday he was not offended by rare and pointed comments made to him by a cast member of "Hamilton" after he attended the hit Broadway show.

"I wasn't offended," Pence said on "Fox News Sunday," declining to ask for an apology as President-elect Donald Trump had demanded.

Pence acknowledged that many Americans were disappointed and anxious after Trump's surprise Nov. 8 election victory following a raucous campaign, but he sought to reassure Americans that Trump would be a president "for all Americans."

He'll be our tweeting president. No press conferences, just tweets.

Trump is very immature and childlike.   Twitter should ban him from the site.

If the company didn't want "immature and childlike", it wouldn't have named itself "Twitter".

Well Mr.6, as I've said many a time since watching that one Vice-Presidential debate...I have to admit that that Born Again Pence sure sounded AND acted a hell of a lot more "presidential" than did Kaine.

(...and the more I think about this, the more I'm convinced that even Hillary's pick of Tom Kaine, a rather lackluster sort and your typical middle-aged white male Washington insider sort, contributed to her defeat nearly as much as John McCain's pick of Sarah Palin contributed to his)

They always say they will be a president for all Americans.

Nobody believes that bs anymore. One of Pence's main

goals is to turn America into the world's largest revival

tent. Ain't gonna happen, dip****.

He does have a stern and full speed ahead aspect.

Pence reminds me of Superman's father, but I can't

remember which version. I haven't seen any of the

movies, so maybe it was the 1950s TV show. And

also a little bit of the old Man From Glad.

GLAD sandwich bags???

Yep. During the mid 1960s secret agent craze, Glad had a commercial

lampooning that. I believe he started out with a greasy kid's stuff

hair style and then, later on, it looked more like Pence's. There's just

some junk that sticks in your mind, no matter what.

And that's one of those things I wish I had forgotten, though

the memory is pretty vague, thank goodness.

I think Pence looks like a cheap, Bargain Basement version of Peter Graves in Mission Impossible.

Evidently you're not the only person that has made this visual connection, Vautrin. I've just found the following connected images on the internet...

PenceGlad2_1.png

Oh, and your other visual connection, the one regarding Pence and the actor who played Superman's father on only the very first episode of that '50s TV show, Robert Rockwell...

robert-rockwell-01.jpg

...and primarily known for playing Eve Arden's unrequited love interest Mr. Boynton on "Our Miss Brooks", and here in his later years...

robert-rockwell-08.jpg

...might not be that far off the mark either.

(...yeah, I DO have a lot of free time my my hands today in order to do all this, huh...that's 'cause it's rainin' here in beautiful picturesque Sedona today, and thus my tennis day was freakin' cancelled...I HATE when that happens)

Pence's furrowed brow concerned look is oh so authentic, no?

Yeah, maybe.

(...but no more than forgotten actor Robert Rockwell's, I'd say) ;)

I think Pence has already got more attention than Joe Biden did in 8 years.

There is some resemblance. Maybe Trump will communicate

with Pence through tapes. Mr. Pence your mission, should

you choose to accept it...
