Trump voters now blame him for the government shutdown
In Michigan, which helped deliver Trump the presidency, many of his supporters find his stand for a border wall too disruptive, even for him.

Most Trump supporters have a Mount Everest of a learning curve when it comes to their president.

However some are starting to come to and smell that strong black coffee.

Hey Rush, NPR's new poll says Trump's support is collapsing: Among suburban men, down 18 points. Among white evangelicals down 13; Republicans down 10, white non-college women down 24.

So you're right: He should keep doing what he's doing. Urge him on. https://n.pr/2AKaBsb

BUT, they will still vote for him in 2020 and other Republicans as well.

THIS is the greatest tweet of all time. There is no debating it. Pure, unbridled insanity coupled with child like naiveté - a combo only the purest Trump supporters can produce.

Staggering in it's stupidity, overwhelming in it's cluelessness. A work of art.

Statements like these destroy the credibility of the Evangelical movement in America.

But at the same time, it does give a clear picture of the State of Mind of a trump supporter who is well paid to say these things.

I think we underestimate how much Fox News has dumbed down American political debates. These are the dumbest, most dishonest human beings on the planet.

But not as dumb as the people who watch this channel.

Alan Dershowitz has just declared the Constitution to be unconstitutional.

 An American Tragedy--

It's truly tragic to see a former Harvard law professor, who not only has lost all respect for the US Constitution,

But who also seems to have lost his belief in American democracy.

It's true people can be bought and sold and there are a number of people who have a price on their forehead--

But to lose your patriotism and love of country in retirement is truly an American Tragedy.

There was a letter to the editor in my local paper this morning from a frequently published, very conservative, pro-Trump citizen. His letter was in response to something Chuck Schumer was quoted as saying about not liking the new tax laws. The letter writer laughed at Schumer and claimed that the reason Schumer didn't like the new tax law was because he had to pay higher taxes, since Trump's tax cuts were designed to help out the "common man" and force "rich fat cats" to pay their fair share. So at least this one pro-Trump dolt believes that the tax cuts were to help the working man and stick it to the rich, which as we know is the opposite of reality. And if one person believes this, how many more do, particularly when the idea gets published in a newspaper, with no rebuttal or corrections?

Nobody ever said the trump supporters were all that bright anyway.

In latest polling only 30% of Americans believe Trump to be honest,

65% of Americans say he is not honest.

In fact, in a rather ironic/disturbing detail,

the only subgroup of Americans where a majority think the President is honest is.

...white evangelical Christians.

The people who tune in to this stuff are not just poorly educated, they are devoid of reality.

Living in a mythological world that doesn't exist now and probably has never existed.

Fox News contributor Katie Pavlich defends Trump's tweets about planes: "To give President Trump some credit, everyone's like, 'Oh, what does he know about planes?' The guy has owned planes his entire life, and when you own a private plane, you know about the way it functions."

Image result for katie pavlich trump and planes

Here we go again-- just because you own a Jet Plane doesn't mean that you are a jet airplane pilot. They're many celebrities, Millionaires, movie stars who actually do fly their own planes because they know how. Those who don't hire trained pilots.

This kind of reasoning is what got us to where we are today.

This Fox presenter can get over on  ignorant trump supporters with this kind of illogical reasoning because their audience is made up of people who are barely educated, enthralled with ill-gotten wealth and have a bizarre superiority complex because of their skin color.

As the cruel hearted cutbacks of the trump Administration start to affect them, their family and friends, they may change their minds about supporting a billionaire who has no respect for the average American.
