Good morning Donald Trump and welcome to the worst year of your life. Karma always gets you in the end.

Tony wrote "The Art of the Deal".

In his next book, he will probably write about how the fake image that he created for trump has been debunked --

as America got to see the real thing.

Trump said Russia was "right" to invade Afghanistan in 1979, since Russia invaded "because terrorists were going into Russia." Shockingly, that is not at all what happened.

Replying to @BenjySarlin

He's a total, dangerous ignoramus

But he's a rich white man who automatically got a pass from white "low- informed" voters because he has special status and privilege in the American society.

And now I got another one:

Instead of forcing taxpayers to give Congress free healthcare,

why don't we force Congress to pay for their own health care.

Congress should be like any other Federal employees, and NOT GET PAID.  Then the shutdown would have never happened.

Now what conservative blonde woman could Joe be talking about?

It was Beauty killed the Beast.

It’s pretty clear that what’s driving Trump now isn’t a governing strategy. It isn’t a re-election strategy. It’s a “hold enough of your base to stop the Senate from convicting when the House impeaches” strategy. Trump must expect that the Mueller report will be very bad for him.

Trump will appear on tv Tuesday to describe a fabricated Wag the Dog crisis at the border. Simpering, sycophantic Republicans are going along even though they know this is a complete ruse. Shutting down the government w/o cause ought to be grounds for impeachment by itself.

I can’t think of a less effective format for @realDonaldTrump than an Oval Office address. He’s terrible at reading off a prompter. Stiff. Wooden. And unlike his stand up act, there’s no crowd to rev up. No reporters to dog. No room for ad libs. And a requirement to be brief!

In all fairness trump does read a speech like a 5th Grader who copied a book report, but never read the book and has trouble pronouncing a lot of the words.

right!....

handing the GOP the nuclear option was sure a bad one from his side's perspective.

There are serious - if not dispositive - arguments that Trump could invoke emergency powers to build his wall. It would be a big court battle, but this may be another place where executive power has been held in check by norms, not bright-line rules.

President Trump has said he would consider invoking emergency powers to build a wall on the southern border, an extraordinarily aggressive move almost certain to invite a court fight.

Trump’s presidency has made clear, as Nixon’s did earlier, that many unwritten norms must be written as laws so that no future president can get outside the guardrails as easily as Trump has done. If ignorant voter select an ignorant POTUS, it must not destroy democracy.

I can really be sympathetic with John Dean. Dean could be considered as being a whistle-blower. And if you want to strengthen Democracy with new laws then do it by protecting  whistle-blowers. I think Dean has TDS and that can cause you to make wrong judgments. I'm reminded that Hillary was considering a drone attack on Julian Assange.

Maybe you or Dean would like some type of litmus test on people, if they have racist motives they can't vote or if they have a low IQ the results will disqualify them from running for the presidency.

Redefining an old philosophical question: If a President speaks from the Oval Office, and says nothing of any significance, is it in fact a "speech"?

If a man does not win the popular vote and has received votes as a result of a foreign interference rooted in racism, and in direct contact with his campaign staff--

Is he in fact the president?
