Something like healthcare for all.

Democrats aren't for that. They've said it'll never happen.

They may talk about it NOW, now that they know they have no chance of beating Trump. But it's just pretend.

If they ever did win, they'd find an excuse for not doing it, just like always. Their owners simply won't ever allow it.

Trump has tweeted that officials should just go ahead and break the law to get the wall going and if need be he will give them all a pardon.

Offering someone a pardon to go ahead and commit a crime is an impeachable offence.

A source close to Deutsche Bank says Trump’s tax returns show he pays very little income tax and,

more importantly,

that his loans have Russian co-signers.

If true, that explains every kind word Trump has ever said about Russia and Putin.

Trump accused of pushing Ukraine to meddle in 2020 election

Ukraine’s new president insists that relations are ‘very good’ with the US .........

".....The claims against Mr Biden have been denied to a number of news organisations, including The Independent, by Ukrainian and western European officials........

scrutinise a telephone call between the US president and Mr Zelensky on 25 July, during which Mr Trump allegedly told the Ukrainian president to reopen the Biden investigation if he wanted to improve relations with the US.

They claim that Kurt Volker, the US special representative for Ukraine, was told to intercede with President Zelensky by the White House, and they are looking into the activities of Rudy Giuliani, Mr Trump’s personal lawyer.

Mr Giuliani urged Mr Zelensky soon after his election to focus on the Biden case, but the Ukrainian president is said to have refused,

Three Democrat-controlled house committees – Foreign Affairs, Intelligence and Government Reform – have announced that they would investigate whether a host of ethical and legal rules have been violated.

Speaking at the annual Yalta European Strategy (YES) conference held in Kiev last weekend, Mr Zelensky said that he had been careful not to comment publicly on the issue of the American security assistance because he did not want to interfere while the decision was under review.......

Mr Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, was convicted and jailed over millions he earned from a former boss, Viktor Yanukovych – the pro-Russian leader who had to flee to Russia following the revolution six years ago – in the “Russiagate” investigation carried out by special counsel Robert Mueller.

There was also scrutiny of a Ukrainian MP, Andrii Artemenko, over an alleged deal with Moscow that drew in Michael Cohen – Trump’s former personal lawyer jailed in the Mueller inquiry – and Michael Flynn, Trump’s former national security adviser, who was also convicted by the special counsel.

Mr Giuliani had, in particular, asked for an inquiry into the “Black Ledger”, a tranche of information about Manafort.........

Rudy Guiliani was in London over the weekend and took the Trump PR roadshow to Rupert Murdoch's Sky News.  The reporter did ask probing questions though which may have surprised Rudy.  He was in sync with fellow Republicans who did American Sunday talk shows and tried to paint Trump and hmself as the real whistleblowers who were fighting deep state.  Has no one told him that they are governing?  Rudy did not hold back and accused the Bidens of just about everything short of child sex trafficking out of a pizza shop.

"........Haldeman, Ehrlichman, and Mitchell exhausted their appeals in 1977. Ehrlichman entered prison in 1976, followed by the other two in 1977. Since Nixon and many senior officials involved in Watergate were lawyers, the scandal severely tarnished the public image of the legal profession.[89][90][91]

The Watergate scandal resulted in 69 government officials being charged and 48 being found guilty, including:[5]

  1. John N. Mitchell, Attorney General of the United States who resigned to become Director of Committee to Re-elect the President, convicted of perjury about his involvement in the Watergate break-in. Served 19 months of a one- to four-year sentence.[20]
  2. Richard Kleindienst, Attorney General, convicted of "refusing to answer questions" (contempt of court);....."

NEW: Barr's counter-investigation of the Mueller probe goes international. The AG just went to Rome to listen to a deposition from shadowy Russiagate figure Joseph Mifsud.

========================================

THIS IS BAD. VERY BAD. Why is Barr talking to a Kremlin agent?

Is that why the plane of another Kremlin agent—Dmitry Rybolovlev—was in Rome while Barr was there?

I'll ask again what I asked yesterday: are Trump and Barr getting help from Russia in undermining the Mueller probe?

Trump and Putin finally got their way—as apparently quid pro quos, secret promises, and military invasions will work in the end.
I wonder whether the people of Ukraine will stand for what was pretty obviously a deal struck

as part of a larger bargain to drop sanctions on Russia........

Trump has been shaking down Ukraine across multiple presidential administrations for two and a half years.

It's worked—4 Manafort probes were dropped; he's gotten Zelensky to appease Putin;

he's working on getting fake Clinton and Biden dirt.

This *isn't* about one phone call......

'Pure insanity': Intelligence veterans are floored by Barr's 'off the books' overtures to foreign officials about the Russia probe

....... National security veterans were flummoxed Monday by reports that Attorney General William Barr traveled overseas and personally asked top foreign intelligence officials to help with a Justice Department inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation. .....

"This is unheard of," one former senior Justice Department official who worked closely with the former special counsel Robert Mueller when he was FBI director, told Insider. ...

"This is pure insanity," he wrote on Twitter. "First of all its really dumb to think foreign services trust Barr more than their regular interlocutors. Also, it is crazy that people like Barr actually believe large groups of people were secretly conspiring in an election." Sipher was referring to Trump and his allies' claims that senior officials in the FBI and the Department of Justice manufactured the Russia investigation to undermine his chances at winning the 2016 race.

Robert Deitz, a former top lawyer at the CIA and the National Security Agency, also said he hadn't heard "of so much involvement by the attorney general in this sort of investigation.".........
