well, from what I have heard there was no nefarious intent to interfere in the FBI investigation but rather unawareness on the part of reince priebus of the inappropriateness of his effort. :)

Trump just spent half his campaign crucifying Bill Clinton for getting on the same airplane as the attorney general while an investigation into his wife was going on.   Though I think you made a wreckless choice in Donald Trump you should still be able to criticize him now that he is the leader.  To revere him as some infallible God is unhealthy for you and for him.

A Top Putin Official Just Praised Trump’s Speech-

"Trump’s performance in Congress stood out due to self-restraint, balanced tone and absence of vicious nonsense toward Russia that was common for [former President] Obama” cheered Russian Senator Alexey Pushkov, of dictator Vladimir Putin’s United Russia political party.

Pushkov also took some shots at the Democratic Party in his tweets on the subject. “Democrats accuse Trump of ignoring the ‘Russian threat.’ This was all that Obama and [Hillary] Clinton thought about … ”

Russia’s heavy military presence in the Baltic regions is extremely worrying for Eastern Europe and our NATO allies.....

Only took Trump 4 weeks to get himself Watergated.

The Trump Administration reminds me of the time when Joe Louis was the Heavyweight Champion.

Every week Louis beat somebody up and they would call that person

"The Bum of the Week".

Looks like just about every week Trump is going to have one of his cabinet people or advisors resigning or being forced to give a public apology for a lack of Ethics or law- breaking - -

THE TRUMP BUMS OF THE WEEK--

Kellyanne Conway - - Let's all buy Ivanka

Michael Flynn-- Fall Guy

Mike-- using my private email for government business is not the same thing as a woman using her private email for government business--Pence

********* This week'sTrump Bum of the Week**********

Jeffrey Beauregard-- I'm going to recluse myself now that people have found out what I've been up to--Sessions

This guy is such a bad liar he needs to recluse himself all the way back to

Alabama.

FOLLOW THE MONEY.........

"As the Trump-Russia saga continues to unfold, how the Obama administration spent its final days scrambling to preserve evidence of Russian interference in the election. Also, the old Soviet-era art of "kremlinology" is back -- but does it really help us understand what Putin is thinking? Plus, a potential key to unveiling Trump’s tax returns, how our understanding of corruption has strayed from the vision of the founders, and more."

Trump, Putin, and the New Cold War- What lay behind Russia’s interference in the 2016 election—and what lies ahead?

"For many national-security officials, the e-mail hacks were part of a larger, and deeply troubling, picture: Putin’s desire to damage American confidence and to undermine the Western alliances—diplomatic, financial, and military—that have shaped the postwar world.

Not long before leaving the White House, Benjamin Rhodes said that the Obama Administration was convinced that Putin had gone into an “offensive mode beyond what he sees as his sphere of influence,” setting out to encourage the “breakup” of the European Union, destabilize NATO, and unnerve the object of his keenest resentment—the United States......

Trump's mental problems reach a peak in the wee hours of the morning. If they are not going to close his twitter account, at least give him some sleeping pills.

Your Questions About “Trump, Putin, and the New Cold War,” Answered-

The writers of a recent New Yorker article on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election respond to reader questions...

"The Kremlin seems aware that with Russia as such a front-and-center issue in Washington, there is no political way Trump could deliver on his promise of better relations, even if he wanted to......

if Putin’s goal was creating “turbulence” for the U.S. political system, as one informed observer in Moscow told us, then on that score he seems to be doing pretty well."

A Former CIA Director Just Blasted Trump For Repeating Russian Propaganda As Fact-

Retired four-star Air Force General and former CIA Director Michael Hayden has given an insightful and revealing interview to Business Insider......

...the narratives espoused by Breitbart and prominent pro-Trumpers like Sean Hannity that show “amazing consistency” with the worldview of Russia’s autocratic government.

Suddenly the American right wing is dominated by extremists that think the way deliberately manipulative Russian propagandists want them to think.

“There are powerful parallels between the Russian narrative and things being said [by Trump and his supporters].”

How The Pieces Are Coming Together To Blow Up Trump’s Russia Cover-Up-

"...The Trump campaign, as of last night, is not only admitting a trip to Russia by one of its official foreign policy advisers during the campaign but as of last night, they’re now admitting that this trip was authorized by the Trump campaign at the time he went to Moscow. Now, politico.com is reporting what is basically a direct Russian tie to that that change in the Republican Party platform to benefit Russia last year.

With each passing day, more parts of this dossier get corroborated, get supported by the facts, and previous denials by the Trump campaign whether it’s about Jeff Sessions, whether it’s about Carter Page, whether it’s about Mike Flynn, whether it’s about that Ukraine platform, whether it’s about Paul Manafort. Their previous denials are all falling apart....

I was "lucky" enough to be in the car this afternoon during the Rush Limbaugh show, so I got to hear it straight from the blowhard's mouth. This whole Trump/Russia thing has been a gambit orchestrated by Obama and "Deep State" Clinton-ites to discredit and defame the lawfully elected Trump administration and distract from their own guilt for "kneecapping" the Sanders primary campaign. And now that people like Rush are on to them, the Liberal activists in Washington have dropped the whole thing and are now trying to deflect away from the "guilt" of Obama by attacking TrumpCare.

In case you were wondering what the right-wing talking points are today.

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) said,

“I think you have to assume that this is perfectly timed coming at a moment which we seem to be getting closer and closer to understanding the true nature of the connections between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.

A moment when investigations are stepping up inside Congress and pressure building for investigations outside Congress.

You know, .... everything the Russians did during the campaign, they were all timed according to moments of weakness in the Trump operation.

The John Podesta email dump came out the day after the Access Hollywood tape was released, so all of this seems suspiciously timed to believe that’s it’s independent, I think feeds that argument that your previous guest was making that

Wikileaks and the Russians are certainly connected.”

Connecting Trump’s Dots to Russia-

"8. Sessions seems a red herring, in that he wasn’t a secret conduit to the Kremlin. The more interesting dot is Manafort, whom investigators have focused on because of his longstanding ties to Russia.

9. “We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia,” Donald Trump Jr. was quoted as saying in 2008. Russia may have gained leverage over Trump through loans to his organization or other business dealings. The way to ease these suspicions would be to examine Trump’s tax returns: Any government investigation that doesn’t obtain Trump’s tax returns simply isn’t a thorough investigation.

10. Even many Republicans acknowledge, as President George W. Bush put it, “We all need answers.” The House and Senate Intelligence Committees mostly operate behind closed doors, while we yearn for transparency. What is desperately needed is an independent inquiry modeled on the 9/11 Commission............

Appearing On Russian State Television, Longtime Trump Adviser Roger Stone Pushes Trump's Wiretap Lie-

".........Stone, a longtime friend, ally, and adviser to Trump, is reportedly under investigation by law enforcement as part of a probe of links between Trump associates and Russian officials during the 2016 campaign.

Stone claimed last August that he personally was in communication with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. A March 8 report also alleges that he exchanged private Twitter messages with “Guccifer 2.0,” an entity U.S. officials believe was created by Russian officials to publicize emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee (DNC).............

Rachel Maddow is scaring the ****** out of me! She's connecting all the dots in the Comrade Trump story.

Ironic that right-wing America is handing our country to the Russians!
