this or that

I'm not going to waste my adulthood the same way I did my adolescence trying to figure this out, so I'll pick the ethereal fifth Beatle who always appeared when John and Paul sang and worked well together, J.P. McLennon.

The Rutles might be an easier choice. Neil Innes or Eric Idle?

Oh, gosh! Could you have made a more difficult choice?

I have to go with Clara; I'm sorry, if I disappoint.

Rudolph Valentino or John Gilbert?

John Gilbert

Antonio Moreno or Ramon Novarro?

And I'd pick Clara, too.

Randolph Scott (more rugged).

I've just gone through five pages of this thread and read the choices between Scylla & Charybdis were excruciatingly tough. (My faves are Lizabeth Scott & Priscilla Lane).

Would anyone want to indulge me for some more like:

Robert Mitchum or Robert Ryan?

Donna Reed or Jeanne Crain?

Anne Revere or Gale Sondergaard?

Mac or PC? (Ooops!)

Lucille Ball or Eve Arden?

"Stagedoor" or "The Women?"

Audrey Totter or Marie Windsor?

The Carradines or The Baldwins?

Robert Ryan or Lee Marvin?

Jeffrey Lynn or Wayne Morris?

I want to ask you more, but I don't want you to be mad at me.

Ok, I am gonna go with Anne Revere or Gale Sondergaard.

And, although I think Anne is perfect in every role she plays, Gale is supreme in her presence and delivery!

Gale Sondergaard

Claudette Colbert or Greer Garson?

Ida Lupino

(They are both tough broads, but there is something sentimental about Lupino that is missing in Hayward.)

Prisoner of Zenda

Madeleine Carroll as Princess Flavia or Deborah Kerr as Princess Flavia?

Emotionally, it's probably about a tie because I think they are both GREAT actresses. However, only because I've seen more of her movies, I'll have to say Myrna Loy. But it wasn't an easy choice at all.

Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House or Bachelor and Bobbysocker

I'd have to pick James Dean only because Giant is one of my favorite movies. Also, Hill No. 1 is a really interesting religious short film.

Flower Drum Song or The Joy Luck Club

Keith David.

He did a good job in "Pitch Black" "There's Something About Mary" and "FInal Analysis."

Teresa Wright or Donna Reed?

Once again, I'm somewhat at an impass because I haven't seen much of eather actress. But I'll choose Lena Horne only because I've seen her in more movies.

Greer Garson or Irene Dunne
