Although I do like Marjorie Main, I think I'll have to pick Jane Darwell because of her portrayal in The Grapes of Wrath!!!

Jane Darwell or Hattie McDaniel

Well, since I just finished watching Eve Arden in The Doughgirls, I'll have to choose her. She was truely very funny as the Russian.

Cher in Moonstruck or Cher in Mask?

Upon further investigation, I found out what they have in common. They are both CANADIAN!!! A Canadian friend of mine would be particularly proud of this piece of information. They are both, obviously, actresses and also women. LOL, ROFL

FYI, Turner Classic movies had an interview last night with Norman Jewison. He directed Cher in Moonstruck and indicated, very specifically, that it was one of his favorite movies. In my opinion, you can't do much better than that!!!

Cagney. ( He wasn't a sensitive cry-baby ).

Elyse Knox or Marjorie Weaver.

BTW Garbomania...I don't want to EVER see you copping out on a choice between a rock and a hard place again!

Marjorie Weaver, only because of her portrayal of Mary Todd in Young Mr. Lincoln which I only recently saw and did enjoy alot.

Douglas Fairbanks Jr. or Fred Astaire

Astaire (are you kidding? I see why they call you Wild, Kathy)

And for you Vallo...JOAN Bennett (as a brunette of course)

Here's a toughie...come on folks, jump on THIS one:

Cary Grant with Ingrid, Irene OR Myrna???

LOL, ROFL, Actually, I'm really only Wild Kathy because of my 7 year old nephew. He coined the name because I love roller coasters.

Your choices are equally difficult thought. I'll choose Cary Grant with Ingrid. But I also like him with Myrna Loy and Irene Dunn too. He's just an all round good actor no matter who his leading lady happens to be.

Judy Garland or Shirley Temple. Remember, Shirley was the first choice to be Dorothy.

Nope; the birth-name of both Mary Pickford and Alexis Smith was Gladys Smith.

OK, so you got me on that one. But I've discovered that they are BOTH also from Canada. Check out the links for yourself.
