but seriously for a moment the charge was made long ago that progressivism was the useful idiocy of communism

 

so here's bill maher, the most arrogant of liberals. so arrogant he can't grasp why a non-racist white man cannot use the N word.

 

actually, I agree with him but here's the thing. the absolute near lunacy of the hypersensitivity of the left. maher is correct. why him?

 

and of course we all know that african-americans will quite freely use the word amongst themselves. so this produces a great challenge to the hypocrisy of the left. how do black people call other black people racists??? that evil malignant word is reserved for the white devils exclusively. :lol:

 

really a very sad commentary on the disintegration of fundamental reason within black civil rights quarters. why would black civil rights leaders want even black americans throwing that word at each other if it is so historically painful? because these hypocrites have determined that black people cannot be racist and bigoted torwards other black people.

Trump is the 45th President chronologically and in the rankings. But it's not like he has tried very hard, is it?

 

Trump is excellent at being Trump--and that's all he cares about and that's the only person he cares about.

 

To be a good President of the United States, you have to care about the welfare of All the American people and equally have respect for the American Constitution, American laws and the checks and balances among the branches of government.

 

Trump hasn't even tried to be a good president. He's not only unqualified for the job, but he's incapable of caring about anything or anyone else but himself.

 

A classic neurotic narcissistic personality who looks like he may be on the verge of a nervous breakdown--

 

A White House staff in chaos (all looking for legal representation);

 

attacking his most loyal advisors like Jefferson Beauregard Sessions and Jared Kushner, daily contradicting his spokespersons, his Secretary of State,

 

while Robert Mueller, a former Director of the FBI is investigating him and his entire administration and campaign staffs for Un-American crimes.

 

Trump hasn't even been in office for six months and already he's got a record that surpasses all of the other 44 presidents in incompetence, mendacity and downright stupidity.

jefferson states that the first self-evident and unalienable right is the right to life.

they may talk about the constitution being a living document but even that is a far cry from what you just said.

Isn't it only defamation if it isn't true? Jefferson owned slaves, that's a fact. 

 

That also doesn't change the words in the Constitution in the least. It just points out that hypocrisy in politics was as alive at the beginning of our nation as it is now.

Thomas Jefferson's personal life has finally been sorted out - - he had two sets of children both mixed-race and white.

 

Now that would be true about a lot of well-to-do white men in colonial times who owned black slaves. But what makes Thomas Jefferson's situation so fascinating is the fact that the mother of his 6 mixed- race children was also his sister-in-law!

 

Sally Hemings and Thomas Jefferson's deceased first wife, Martha Jefferson were, indeed, half sisters. They had the same father, a slave owner named John Wayles.

 

You can just guess that perhaps Sally and Martha may have had a family resemblance.

 

When John Wayles died, Martha inherited 125 black slaves-- among them were Sally Hemings, her half-sister, who came to Monticello at that time.

 

After Martha's death, it's a known fact that Sally accompanied Thomas Jefferson to Paris in 1787 where he held the post of United States Minister to France.

 

A few years back I watched an Oprah Winfrey show where she invited the white descendants of Thomas Jefferson and the mixed-race descendants of Thomas Jefferson to come on the show and discuss the whole thing.

 

You can't get away from any issues concerning race if you have to discuss American history-- it was there at the very beginning and it is still with us.

And yet it is the left that has been proclaiming the world famous line "All men are endowed by their creator with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." all over the place for decades as the beginning and the end of the argument for all human and civil liberties.

if you of the left in the face of the obvious original intent of the authors are going to plead ignorance and or a lack of basic comprehension skills than you are going to lose this argument mighty quick...

You sure are quick to excuse Darling Donny when he poo poos and runs roughshod over a constitution he's never read, doesn't know or care about. His pursuit of happiness cannot be at the expense of others, as he's always done, or of the country, which he is now doing.

I won't be proclaiming those lines, which are not from the Constitution in the

first place. The intent of the Constitution's authors are hardly obvious. Who

knows exactly what was the original intent of a document that is over two

hundred years old? High crimes and misdemeanors. In today's language

those are opposites.

Not as fluid as Moby Dick, but there are ambiguities in both documents,

plus the fact that the English language has evolved over two hundred

years.
