" Kiss of Death " is a great GOP film. Widmark pushes an old lady, in a wheelchair, down a flight of stairs.

" Human Desire ", is the only Lang directed noir that I have never seen. I know that TCM has shown it.

Miss G(loria) -- I just love entering this thread. Do you mind if I stay the night here? Gloria & Gene are hard to leave.

The Marsha Hunt photos were very nice. I do like her look. I also like the photos of Glenn Ford and Richard Widmark. Two of my faves.

Ken -- I'd be interested in hearing your opinion of *Human Desire*. I hope you can catch it down the road. Love Gloria Grahame and Glenn Ford.

Door's always open to you Frank. But I hope you're not too tall---the sofa gets uncomfortable for anyone over 6 feet.

"His philosophy, in addition to scaring the wits out of people, was that he had a responsibility to the millions who saw our pictures. He aimed at more than mere exploitable crook shows, and wanted their impact to result from legitimate psychological conflicts. Lewton's pictures were cheaply made, but not cheap."

Director Robert Wise,

from an interview in Films in Review, January 1963
