The Train, one of the better WW II films

2 posts in this topic

If you're looking for a good war movie The Train fits the bill. Filmed in B/W and staring Burt Lancaster. The story is set in occupied France and the Nazi's are transporting stolen art work by train to a safe location. There is plenty of intrigue, and the sound on European train whistles in the background. The climax is worth the wait and Lancaster is at his best. TCM should show this over Memorial Day or Veterns Day.
