Some sure like to make these things political, at least wait until the facts come out about this nut and the weapons he used.

CBS fires VP for writing ‘Republican gun toters’ killed in Las Vegas don’t deserve sympathy

CBS fired a company executive Monday after she criticized some victims of the Las Vegas mass shooting as “Republican gun toters” who did not deserve sympathy.

Hayley Geftman-Gold, who was a vice president and senior legal counsel at CBS in New York, also wrote on Facebook that she had no hope that Republicans — whom she called “Repugs” — would ever take action and “do the right thing” if they didn’t do anything when children were murdered, an apparent reference to the Sandy Hook shootings that left 28 people dead, including 20 children killed inside their elementary school.

Geftman-Gold made her Facebook comments in the aftermath of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, with at least 59 people killed and more than 500 injured. The attack occurred at the end of a three-day country music festival held over the weekend on the Las Vegas Strip.

*******************************************

This lady almost sounds happy the shooting happened, unbelievable what they think in the media.

I believe it was a distraught Bernie Sanders supporter who shot up the Republican Congressional baseball practice Last Summer.

White domestic terrorism comes in many packages.

Does anybody remember that horrible mass shooting inside the darkened movie theater during the premier showing of that Batman movie?

I wonder how many of these things do we have to go through before something is done about these ridiculous automatic weapons being in the hands of ordinary citizens.

So far the motive is a complete mystery.  No criminal record, left no type of note or any internet tweet.  No association with any hate or terrorist group.  What cause a seemly normal guy to completely lose it?  He did lost money at casinos but had it to do so according the relatives.  The only involvement with the court system was a slip and fall lawsuit.

He took the answers to the grave.  How can one prevent such a thing and intervene, well in reality, you simply can't.

Read this in a report:

Not long after the shooting, the Islamic State claimed responsibility, though law enforcement authorities were quick to reject that assertion. “We have determined, to this point, no connection with an international terrorist group,” Aaron Rouse, the special agent in charge of the FBI in Las Vegas, said at a news briefing.

Curious. Why would ISIS want credit for this?

Trying to provoke people to go after Muslims in America maybe? Rev up the war?

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Official story of Las Vegas shooting unravels; physical impossibility of lone gunman senior citizen makes narrative ludicrous

Natural News >>  https://www.naturalnews.com/2017-10-02-lone-gunman-theory-of-las-vegas-shooter-is-complete-nonsense-stephen-paddock.html

I had typed out a post earlier today, wondering how long it would take for some conspiracy theorists, like Alex Jones and his ilk, to start the narrative that this shooting was some sort of fake set-up to try and push public support for gun confiscation or some such nuttery. I decided against posting it since I thought it may have been in poor taste to start being cynical. Looks like I was wrong, as it has started already.

I read that earlier, too, and it made me chuckle. Even they automatically assume that it was a Muslim terrorist. I don't see any motive in claiming responsibility other than trying to latch on to any mass-casualty violent activities. And as you say, any move to engender more animosity towards resident Muslims helps push them towards radicalization and potential recruitment.

In what type of wood do you dwell?

Incidentally - why have you been posting everything two times lately? Just running up your post count for some reason? Or did you see that Frankie Two-Times guy in 'Goodfellas' recently and decide you wanna be just like him, just like him?

I'm surprised that Alex Jones didn't remember that they let OJ Simpson out last night and he was in the vicinity of this whole thing.

With Jones' scatterbrained "ability", he could surely manage to give OJ his "proper" place in all of this "conspiracy".

Blue Ridge wood. Who's behind this? Anti-Castro Cubans, the CIA, the

Russians, LBJ, Texas Oilmen? Time will tell.

I don't intend to post things twice. I click once and sometimes it posts twice

on this site. I don't think the TCM site has ever been at the forefront of computer

technology. So I apologize in advance if it keeps happening.

That used to happen to me all the time until I signed up for therapy for my index finger. And now it is totally trained. But I still have trouble with it when I'm using my pop can opener to open bottles of imported Coca-Cola. LOL

I myself have thought about shooting some people when I've been subjected to country music.

I don't dare go to Alberta again.

Hillary Clinton slammed for ‘ignorant’ statement on guns after Las Vegas shooting

Hillary Clinton took heat Monday for issuing what critics called an “ignorant” and “irrelevant” statement going after the NRA and silencers in the hours after the Las Vegas mass shooting.

“The crowd fled at the sound of gunshots. Imagine the deaths if the shooter had a silencer, which the NRA wants to make easier to get,” she tweeted, adding: “Our grief isn't enough. We can and must put politics aside, stand up to the NRA, and work together to try to stop this from happening again.”

But conservative critics quickly hit back, saying silencers probably would only moderately dampen the sound of gunfire in this kind of attack – especially from what was described as a high-powered weapon.

“Suppressors only reduce by a few decibels, still same decibel level as a jackhammer,”.

*************************************************************

Notice how quickly Hillary ran to politics as though she is still relevant. Increasing the laws on silencers wouldn't have changed this tragedy at all. None were used according to those who viewed the hotel room.

Jimmy Kimmel’s emotional, scathing monologue about gun control after the Vegas massacre -

(Jimmy Kimmel) also had some scathing words for government officials about gun control, including President Trump, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Speaker Paul Ryan.

He noted that they and other lawmakers “ who won’t do anything about this because the NRA has their balls in a money clip, also sent their thoughts and their prayers today, which is good.

They should be praying.

They should be praying for God to forgive them for letting the gun lobby run this country, because it’s so crazy.”

"I've been reading comments from people who say, “This is terrible, but there’s nothing we can do about it.”

But I disagree with that intensely. Because of course there’s something we can do about it, there’s a lot of things we can do about it. But we don’t, which is interesting.

Because when someone with a beard attacks us, we tap phones, we invoke travel bans, we build walls, we take every possible precaution to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

But when an American buys a gun and kills other Americans, then there’s nothing we can about that.

The Second Amendment, I guess, our forefathers wanted us to have AK-47s is the argument, I assume. Orlando, Newtown, Aurora, San Bernardino, every one of these shootings the murderer used automatic or semi-automatic rifles, which are not weapons you use for self-defense....

And this guy, reportedly he had 10 of them in his room, apparently legally. At least some of them were there legally. Why is that allowed?

I don’t know why our so-called leaders continue to allow this to happen.

Or, better question, why do we continue to let them allow it to happen?......

Why would we approach this differently? It’s a public safety issue, and something needs to be done already......

...Eighty-nine percent of Democrats and Republicans are in favor of restricting gun ownership for the mentally ill. But not this gang! They voted against both of those things.

So with all due respect, your thoughts and your prayers are insufficient...."

Here’s video and complete transcript of Kimmel’s monologue:

List of Obama Gun Laws Passed by Congress

Gun enthusiasts have portrayed Barack Obama as the "most anti-gun president in American history" and claimed that a number of Obama gun laws placed new restrictions on law-abiding citizens who own, buy and sell firearms. But the reality was much different.

The number of Obama gun laws passed during his two terms in office comes in at only two, and neither placed additional restrictions on gun owners.

That is not to say Obama was not critical of the use of guns to commit the numerous mass shootings and acts of terrorism during his tenure in the White House. Quite the opposite. Obama sharply criticized the gun lobby and the easy access to firearms.

Obama also made curtailing gun violence a central theme of his second-term agenda after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012.

But he was unable to win passage of new laws and insisted authorities do more to enforce measures already on the books.

***********************************************

In other words, Obama did nothing as usual but talk and play golf. At one point he could have passed any gun control laws he wanted, but didn't.

Hmm let's see...

as many as 30 weapons, including long rifles and two mounts, were found in room

weapons unidentified

hotel security footage unreleased

hotel check-in is through casino (you MUST go through casino to get to check in)

two windows were blown out (one window per hotel room) - that means more than one shooter

some witnesses were saying there were several shooters

Anyone still buying the official story?

BTW, pukes, Alex Jones thinks accused shooter might be affiliated with "anitfa" terrorist group.  (no, I didn't watch him)
