Another man behaving badly in Hollywood — this time, Harvey Weinstein. What a shocker

There are so many things about the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment revelations that are distressing and familiar that I hardly know where to start.

Weinstein is a 65-year-old married movie mogul who has been accused of sexually harassing women who work for him or have wanted to work for him over a period of nearly three decades. He is a man who can make and break careers, whose power has sometimes seemed infinite, whose temper is volcanic, and whose deft touch with stories and marketing has resulted in numerous Oscars.

The harassment was so pervasive and well-known among staff at his companies — Miramax, then the Weinstein Co. — that women would double up for protection when they had to go see him, according to the New York Times. It was also, if Twitter is to be believed, an open secret in Hollywood.

Some of his staff, it was reported, were required to participate in “turndown duty” for him at bedtime or to help get him up in the morning.

This sounds 80 times worse than whatever happened at Fox news.

I just love the spectacular hypocrisy of these right wingers, always ready to castigate the morals of Hollywood after voting for a man as President last November who bragged about molesting women, and had countless women accuse him of assault.

If you voted for Trump, you gave a pass to Harvey Weinstein & all the others like him. Stop pretending you care about sexual harassment.

<_<

Obviously Movie Madness, who will never say a word against Trump, doesn't care. That's why his posting this "protest" against Hollywood "morals" rings so hollow.

Harvey is a traditional Hollywood studio man and a great Hollywood producer. So it stands to reason that he would keep the Hollywood traditions of the great Hollywood Moguls alive.

Somewhere-- I don't know where-- but wherever they may be I can hear the great moguls of Hollywood cheering Harvey on for following in their footsteps and keeping alive the great tradition of the Hollywood Casting Couch.

Darryl F Zanuck, Harry Cohen, Jack Warner, and, of course, the great

Louie B. Mayer, salute you Harvey-- and Hooray for Hollywood!

Don't leave out Obama, he seemed to love this guy too.

chummy!

yet another of those rare bad judgment calls by obama. the marble countertoppery in his 12-bedroom mansion split when news of the weinstein scandal audibly entered that near divine place.

this guy reputedly went to town with himself in front of a woman...

now be fair, TomJH, even trump has probably never done something as sick as that.

since weinerstein probably kissed up to hollywood denizens' pet liberal political peeves over the years, they probably never suspected him of such conduct. liberals always give a free pass to those who kiss up to them.

trump doan kiss up to anybody so who is the better man? trump or this sicko? :P
